That's in the background; Walter himself has yet to order and thus sits in silence, waiting. Within a minute or two, a familiar waitress approaches and he shifts, moving to put the communicator away.]

Hello! . . . am I interrupting?

Isn't it on?

[Walter looks at "it," and only then does he realize that the communicator in his grasp is indeed on. Perhaps misinterpreting his silence, there's a not so subtle mirth behind the waitress' voice.]

I'll come back later. Please don't be shy!

Wait . . .

[The communicator picks up on her fading footsteps. Following a pregnant pause, Walter goes to turn the device off.]
