Should I be...trying to feed him? Couldn't he starve going this long?! Should I keep him warm, or could he be running a fever?! I just don't know what should be done, he's never been out this long before..!

[ Kaito slides easily into the house and locks the door behind him before venturing off to the kitchen to grab two cans of canned tea before venturing into the room Conan's been staying in. He doesn't bother knocking, just lets himself in and moves over to Ran, having guessed that she was there. ]

Hey.

[ He holds a can out to her. ] He'll be okay. He's still breathing and he hasn't lost any weight since falling asleep. My guess is he's in some kind of stasis.

[Ran looks up curiously, and takes the can of tea with a grateful smile.] Shinichi. [Sometimes it was still hard to believe he was here. Sometimes...she just needed to say his name to make sure it wasn't all an illusion or some trick.]

[Turning back to Conan, she sighs.] You'd think I'd be grateful that he's not running around and getting into everything, but...[Small smile.] That's just him, you know? I find myself missing it. I'd much rather chase after him than worry about him all the time.

[ He pops the tab open on his own can of tea and takes a drink, sitting on the edge of Conan's bed and just... watching the detective sleep. He's got more fight left in him than that, hasn't he? ]

He's safe, he's breathing normally, his skin is still warm-though not too warm to the touch, and he's not losing weight. We'd know if there was something to be done.

[ Although... later, after Ran's gone to bed he might sneak the detective over to the coral-just to see if maybe he forgot to touch it. ]

[Ran stared at the two of them. It was bizarre, how similar they looked. It was almost as though father was looking over son--what was she thinking fffff.

Luckily the room was relatively dark, and her blush was easily concealed (wasn't it?). She turned away, looking over to the glasses that rested on the bedside table.]

...I've never seen this happen before...so I don't know if it's normal or not...
