[ Have a close up of a confused spirit medium, Vatheon! Maya is currently fiddling with the SFC, and once she realizes the possibility that it just might be on, she holds it back and tilts her head to the side a bit. ]

I-Is it working now? Hello? Um, hola? Am I still in California..? I haven't been k-kidnapped again, right?

[ You never know with Maya, after all.. ]

If anyone can hear me.. can you tell me where I am?! Please?! And if you've seen a guy named Nick, or a little girl wearing clothes like mine named Pearl? [ afterwards, there is a sharp growling noise coming from somewhere off screen.. Maya looks down. ] Oh, and some place to eat!  Panicking works up an appetite, as the saying goes!

That looks like the Plaza to me. [But she isn't sure.]

I'm near a big fountain. It's pretty noticeable. Does that help?

[One last glance into the feed, a thoughtful hand on her chin, and then she nods again.]

...Sure! I'll come look for you.

Okay, Yukari! I'm Maya. I'll be, um, here.

[ She smiles, then fiddles with the device until she manages to switch it off.. ]

[There's a smile then, to confirm.]

All right.

[And then once she manages to turn it off, Yukari does, too. She immediately sets off, and not too long afterwards, she finds herself near the fountain, spotting Maya by her purple spirit medium clothes.

...She's got a towel in her hand when she approaches.]
