[ Have a close up of a confused spirit medium, Vatheon! Maya is currently fiddling with the SFC, and once she realizes the possibility that it just might be on, she holds it back and tilts her head to the side a bit. ]

I-Is it working now? Hello? Um, hola? Am I still in California..? I haven't been k-kidnapped again, right?

[ You never know with Maya, after all.. ]

If anyone can hear me.. can you tell me where I am?! Please?! And if you've seen a guy named Nick, or a little girl wearing clothes like mine named Pearl? [ afterwards, there is a sharp growling noise coming from somewhere off screen.. Maya looks down. ] Oh, and some place to eat!  Panicking works up an appetite, as the saying goes!

[ Maya does wander, but not far! She's just roaming about the plaza restlessly. ]

[Does take long for a rather weird dude to show up to the plaza, peering around, looking for her. He's tall, his skin an odd slate grey, and those sure are two long goat horns peeking out from his messy short hair. And as if that wasn't enough, he also had a layer of clown paint applied liberally to his face.]
