Hey, guys! You probably don't really know Terra all that well since he's just got here.

But he's one of my best friends and it's his birthday coming up, so... if you want to come over, we'll be doing something to celebrate with him.

Okay, how about I meet you somewhere afterward with some food? I'm sure there'll be plenty of cake and ice cream to go around since Aqua's helping me make everything.

[ He won't push her to come over. But he really wants to hit home the point that he doesn't care what she looks like. And that if people really care about her, then they won't either.

You know, I think I might like that.

[So far Ven is seeming like more and more of a person she wants to get to know. He clearly doesn't care what she looks like at any given moment, and she's hoping that feelings like that will let him see what she considers her real face.

But for now, her curiosity wins out again.]

I have to ask, though, what makes birthdays such a big deal in the first place?

Because that's the day you were born. It's a day for your friends and family to get together every year and celebrate their bond with you, and the fact that you exist. It's... not really about getting older, as much as I tease Terra about it.

It's about being with the people who matter on a special day.
