second thought [accidental video]
[Clearly the SFCs have horrid timing, because this time a feed starts up when it gets knocked onto the floor. After a brief bout of static, it focuses on Mao spinning around in a simple computer chair with both hands clamped over a pair of headphones, holding them to his ears. To anyone who remembers him from his first appearance, he definitely looks happier this time!]
I take back every terrible thing I said about this city~! Oh, if only you could see this--we could live here forever and ever and nobody could ever tear us apart again, I'd make sure of it! How I missed hearing your voice, C.C.! I was so angry at first because they took everything away from me, but they gave it back! It's only missing you now... But you'll come someday, I just know it! I promise, I'll wait for however long it takes!
[Slowly, the chair comes to a stop and Mao regards the fallen SFC with mild surprise. Did he bump into the desk a little too hard? Whoops! Time to get off that chair and pick the poor thing up.]
Ah! I had no idea this turned itself on. But since I have your attention, I have a teensy question for you all! Where could I find a normal doctor? You see, the natives are far too noisy for my tastes, and I'm a little picky~

voice;
The clinic has its doors open for you, no matter what your needs.
However, I can't vouch for your standards being met as I'm not sure as to what they are to begin with.
voice;
[That, and he doesn't really know the answers to some of the more basic ones. Blood type? Allergies? What's that?]
I don't suppose you have a remedy for leg pains? I've started limping from something a few days ago and it's been bothering me more and more as time goes by.
voice;
It would all depend on what sort of leg pain. Is this a cramp? The sort you just woke up with? We have to determine a cause before recommending any cure.
voice;
voice;
Complete healing isn't quite so foreign as one would think considering how this place seems to have gathered people with various... shall we say... abilities.
However, that lingering side effect does strike me as strange. Describe the pain for me.
voice;
It only acts up if I put too much pressure on it or if I decide to walk around the city for too long--Sometimes it starts off dull and turns sharp, but if I move wrong? [A clap.] Bang! It feels like getting shot again!
voice;
[ But he considers everything being told to him though. ]
Interesting. Either we can consider that your injury hasn't been healed completely beneath the surface or this is merely an aftereffect of the entire ordeal.
At any rate, it would be best that you not strain it all that much. Give it a week, perhaps. If need be, you can drop by the clinic at any time and I can give this a further examination and perhaps a splint in order to support it.
voice;
[The chair creaks as he leans forward. Oh, it was so tempting to switch the device to video to show off his eyes, but he'd hold back against it. It wouldn't be a very wise thing to do in this city--especially when he a) has no idea as to the identity of the person he's speaking with, and b) has no allies.]
Hmph. It could get worse in a week... I think I'd feel a little more... At ease if it was looked at. It wasn't just one or two cops who shot me.
[More like a whole riot squad. Oops.]
voice;
[ A nod as he presses his fingertips together. ]
My clinic is open for consult from nine in the morning to ten in the evening though for later times, past midnight, my apartment is at Vita. Fourth floor, second room.
Of course, if it still bothers you, I'd be happy to do a house call.

anon text; oh whoops and then i tl;dr'd
There is a downside to that, though - there is a chance that Mao would be able to hear him. On that note, he's gambling on the idea that he may either be a) far enough away from Mao so that he can't hear his thoughts or, b) lost in the sea of thoughts of everyone else in vatheon. In other words...a distraction, between that and the fact that he's well...being Mao.
Of course it isn't the end of the world if Mao does realize it's him behind the anonymous text, but for now...he'd prefer it. The fact that he knew Mao was here before he did was a good thing. AT least he might be ahead of the game in one area or so. But he still won't underestimate him, just in case.]
You seem so certain that that you both won't be so separated if this C.C. were to appear here. What gives you reason to believe that?
text; omnomnom tl;dr
Lucky for Lelouch, the city dampened his normal radius so he's well out of range. That doesn't mean he's any less cautious with the voices, though. Who knows if someone he crossed paths with would show up? Well, this was one of those cases.]
Why should I believe otherwise? I've always been able to find her, so why would here be any different? I just need to be patient and wait for her.
anon text; 8D
Anyway. He's as careful as always when he responds, trying his best to retain a neutral voice on the situation.
'Always', huh? It did serve as some amusement, thinking about it.]
Your hopes are so high - I wonder what would happen if she were never to appear here?
[Though it would be problematic for him. They were accomplices, after all.]
text; also I have missed playing against a Lelouch so much you don't even knowakdjg /keeps forever
There's a brief pause before he responds. There's something almost familiar about the way those words were being used, but he just couldn't put his finger on it.]
You should never say never because anything can happen|
anon text; and i've never played against a mao in-game lgkhfdg /keeps forever too
By burning itPolitely. Hehatesappreciates the thought, though.He's actually amused; he wonders how long it'll take for Mao to figure it out. Though as soon as he figures it out, well...it may not be so much fun. Not only will the game be over, but he's not quite sure how Mao would react to Lelouch being there.]
I was being hypothetical, of course. You may say "never say never" but you can't say that she will appear here either.
[Talk about a one track mind...]
text; kadhkfghlka .///.
Hmm... This was getting interesting--the only drawback is he couldn't pick out any voices that could match the words popping up on the SFC with his geass. If he wanted to figure this out, he had to either make a wild guess out of a few hundred people or move to another part of the city.]
And you can't say she wont.
[Okay, the decision has been made. Time to venture further into town.]
text; <333
You'll never find him. C: or...you probably will, eventually.]
I suppose I can't. What I'm trying to say is banking your hopes on one person is a little obsessive, don't you think?
text; <333
He can also just play the waiting game when he gets bored of picking through everyone's thoughts. He's pretty good at that.]
You call it obsessive, I call it loyalty.
