[Everything is black. The air is cold and the only sound is a voice, softly scolding..]

Twins of misfortune..atone for your sins.

[Slowly the scene is revealed. Bodies are everywhere. Snow is falling softly from the sky. A lone child in rags stands before a tall tower. His long blond hair reaches the ground, his frame frail and nothing but skin and bones.]

Fai..I'll find a way to get us out..

[blue eyes widen as more bodies are added. A wall surrounds the bodies and the tower. The boy tries to stack the bodies in order to climb to the top of the tower but its never enough.]

Twins of misfortune..

[Suddenly another body is seen falling. It looks just like the boy in the pit. Falling from the top of the tower. Everything goes black.]

FAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIII! [A piercing scream and then nothingness.]

[And then a new voice fills the air]

You use magic. That eye is the source of you power, isn't it? To get back the feathers I need this as well.

[A boy with brown hair, his expression cold. A blond man on his knees before him. Short hair, blue eyes..unmistakeable as the boy from before even despite the older age. Water swirls around them and when it disappears, blood pours down the blond's face from an eye socket with no eye.]

I will take the other as well.

[Then nothingness once again..until there is pain. Screams fill the air, the sound of a heartbeat, yelling that is indistinguishable as he gets masked by a voice fill with agony.]

Twin of misfortune..you will bring harm to others

[That voice, always there..always haunting. The next images only come as flashes..

A team of four in all black. A blond with an eyepatch, a tall man with dark hair, the brown haired boy, a princess.

Images of death. Betrayal. Destruction. Each one seeming to be cause by the blond. Each memory bursting forth with brutal clarity. This time the voice bursts through much louder, much clearer.]

Twin of misfortune..remember your sins!


[With a scream Fai bolts awake, sitting upright in bed. He pants for air, his face contorted in terror. He has no idea the world has just seen his past by the dreamberry laying on the table next to him. His hands clutch at the sheets in his lap.]

Curse...[Fai shudders and wraps his arms around himself. All his life he has been cursed. It was those curses that brought upon so much misfortune.]

I think a person's dreams and memories should be private unless someone wants them to be shared..It isn't right that this device has that kind of power.

That seems to be true..Was it able to do things like this when it looked different? Mine recently changed shape.

I don't think so. Or at least nobody told me it could do something this.

I see..I'm a little worried about what more changes might mean..maybe something is coming.

Who knows. Guess we can expect everything in this place.

I'm beginning to find that out. [He smiles a little, hoping it reaches his voice.]

Hopefully things will get better instead of worse. Let's stay positive.

[He looks over to the device]

I hope you've been spared any bad dreams while this is going on.

I never had any really bad dreams.

You're very lucky..[Has had a lifetime of them]

Well, I'm a tough girl and I can't think of anything that I could consider a real nightmare.

_{[she lives for herself and isn't afraid of anything. If something stands in her way, she'll just defeat it. If not, she'll die trying. That's all.]}

I don't know you very well, but even I believe in your toughness.

_{[she smirks, even though you can't see it.]}

Good! Only a fool wouldn't believe in it.

[He lays back and stares at the ceiling.] I believe you can handle anything that comes your way.

I'm not that strong at all..

But you can always get stronger.

Perhaps..But you need to be strong inside and my heart has always been weak and easily tampered with.

You're just giving up without trying.

That is me, exactly..or at least it was before I was given a reason to live. I've gotten better about trying and staying strong but I am still just me.

Then you should try to get stronger instead of whining that you'll never be strong enough!

I never thought I'd live long enough to get stronger..but I guess you're right.

I am right. But I guess in this place you'll have a lot of time to get stronger.

That is very very true, since we have no clue when we get to go home.

Yeah. So you might as well use that time somehow.
