minute 10 [Dream/video]

[My... my? Where has Aradia been all this time? Sleeping, of course. She had been out for a good time now, and it was her turn to come back for at least a little bit.

... It always seems to happen every few months or so. Yeeep.

[ Within her dream the stage is set to an odd version of LOQAM, it's appearance is mostly the quartz and such, but if you took the chance to explore, it breaks off back into normal grass with an impressive mountain range. However, our star is not the surface of the planet. She's zooming through the air, flying as fast as her wings and the wind can take her, and much faster than they usually count take her. She draws lower to the ground, still going as fast as she can. There's a cluster of darkened quartz, covered in overgrown vines and such, within this cluster there's a group of spirits, vague shapes only more distinguishable by their horn shapes, some of them double the size of what they should be for some reason. They seem to be whispering, trying to all speak to her at once.

She flies in closer, holding her hands out, her solid hands pass through their own, and she continues on flying. They're still whispering, warning her not to continue that path she was taking, but she's way too far away at that point to be able to hear them. Foolish Aradia, as always. If only she had stayed close and listened to them for a few more moments.

The wind blows against her for a moment, hard enough for her to stop in her tracks. It's another warning. Was it the smell of brown sugar? Mmm, maybe, or was it honey? Who knows. Either way it carries on with the wind, dying down whenever it shifts again. There's also a strong hint of something burning now. As she passes by a canyon, she catches something down at the bottom of it, surrounded by ... quartz of another strange hue?

... But that is her hive down there, not yet destroyed from events to come. It confuses her, considering that she had seen her hive on the planet and it was destroyed, and her curiosity gets the better of her. This is her dream, after all. As she draws closer there comes a rumbling.

And then a faint noise, slowly growing louder. Something... primal, an odd sound and indistinguishable by those who could listen but it makes her visibly nervous, but she still descends to her hive.

The moment she touches down onto the ground, she hears a familiar crackling sound, turning to face it, she sees energy coming towards her. But the color was not the same red and blue, or yellow, black and white that she had known who they could belong to. It... was actually multiple colors. WOW. Her first instinct takes over: Run away and try to fly. She takes off, trying to get enough speed up to kick herself off the ground, but as she steps off, a very large hand grabs her legs, pulling her back onto the ground. Soon thereafter, she's engulfed by the energy, unable to get away.

It only happens in a few seconds. When the energy dissipates her limp body was left behind, blood seeping through onto the ground, and there's now the smell of burned everything, as if her body wasn't enough, and by the look of her wings being burned off.

[Oh... her sleepcoma had been going so well, too. The dream fades away as she wakes with a loud gasp, just staring for a moment, then curling the blankets around her closer. Ugh, that was not the way she wished to wake up, even if she felt... oddly well-rested. She had only been out for a small nap, right? Hm. She was just completely out of it at this point, finally sitting up and staring down at the Dreamberry, wiping her eyes with her sleeve. What... is this thing. And apparently it's on? Hm.]

That was a terrible nap.

[And here's Sollux, looking concerned] Oh hey, you woke up?

Uh, a couple of days, actually.
