dream; backdated

WARNINGS: gore, disturbing descriptions. This dream was intended to be appalling and disgusting, so if you're easily squicked, please carry on!

*
"She's cursed."
*
Tiir, Guriko, Minato. Hand in hand. Smiles on all their faces, sharing glances with Guriko. The younger sister. The friend. The good.

Guriko the good.

How rare she hears that! Though their voices are gone, Tiir and Minato mouth it out loud. Guriko. Good.
( Guriko is good..? )
*
"She can't get hurt."
*
It's when she looks down that she notices it. Where hands should be holding hers, instead are mouths, biting into her flesh.

She can't feel it, but she bleeds.
( Red, red, red, red, red, red, red, red, red, why is it so red, )
"What...?"

The smiles that once laced Tiir's and Minato's faces now morph into something more sinister. Tiir's eyes glow red, and Minato's grow big. The teeth from their hands sink in further, and with one large, seemingly painful tug, her arms are ripped out of the sockets. Red splatters out.

Tiir's clawed hand reaches through her heart and yanks it out.

Minato's Evoker shoots her in the head and her brain splutters out.
( kill me )
*
"Can't die."
*
The lifeless body of the Guriko lays, strewn about the concrete, limbs laying beside her, blood pooling out of places she wasn't hurt in. She bleeds, she bleeds, she bleeds so much, until her entire body melts into a bloody puddle of cells.

The blood tightens up, dries, and pops off the cement, turning into rose petals as they get blown about.
( i can't
i want
why can't i )
*
"Can't feel pain."
*
The wind slams the petals against a dead tree, where they continually brush against it, until Guriko's body is formed again, naked and scarred against a forgotten tree.

She breathes once, twice, three times.

Her face is neutral.
( Guriko is not that good, huh? )
*
"Sometimes I wonder if she can feel anything."
*
Though there is a disgusting coil forming in her stomach, she can't blame them for what they did.

Minato and Tiir...

They were just throwing out the trash.

The coil takes a physical form, and with another inhale, her stomach starts bubbling like a pot of soup. Even though she can't feel anything, there's disgust lining her face as she stares at her own vile body.

Her hands rip at her skin, and eventually, a bloody crow flies out of her now open stomach.
( Guriko is sorry you had to live there.
Please be okay. )
*
"She's a monster."
*
Two spoons form in both her hands. And beside her, Tiir and Minato roll out from behind the tree, leaning on it with confidence.

"Imouto."

"Guriko."
( Don't call Guriko that, I... )
She lunges.

*
"She's a liar."
*
( I'm sorry...
but I
can't
help
myself )
*
"She's the 1000-year-old witch!"
*
Standing with a hunched back, her spoons have been replaced by small, sphere objects.

A blue and red eye.

A blue and gray eye.

Her face is neutral.

( Perhaps that's the most disturbing thing of all )

[ Surprise enough for her, Guriko actually slept through her whole dream tonight. Any bit of surprise on her face when she wakes up is because of that.

She's too used to dreaming up the most horrid of things to be effected by it.

At this point, it's somewhere in the afternoon, around 3.

She sits up in her bed, and stares at the wall for a bit.

[Death and gore are things he has surrounded himself in all his life, so they don't disturb him. Suffering is something he sees in all of his friends' eyes, so it doesn't surprise him. Instead, he watches the dream with a passive sort of melancholy, wishing that Guriko didn't have to hurt like this (because he knows that she doesn't deserve any of this).

Always hurting, always afraid of being hurt—until you render yourself empty enough to simply stop hurting. After all, feeling nothing seems to be a better alternative to constant despair—Tiir's well aware of that mindset, even if he doesn't follow it himself.

Never trust fully—always be wary. Wary that everyone will leave you in the end. He'd hoped that he could heal Guriko's heart, but in the end...

(No amount of pretty words will fix this, will they? She's too broken for that, it seems.)

It's unfair. It's always unfair. Guriko shouldn't have to go through this.]

[Though Tiir doesn't know how to help with his—if there's even anything he can do—he heads over to her room, knocking lightly on the door.

... Perhaps she doesn't want to see him. Perhaps she's afraid—but it doesn't do anyone any good to be alone.]

Guriko? Is it all right if I come in?
