How time passes. I did not expect to spend a full month in this place, and yet here we are.

[ Despite the comment, Alexstrasza looks calm enough, merely observing and hardly complaining. A month is really just a drop in the bucket. ]

Around this time of of the year, several of the races of my world dedicate a week to the much-needed care of some of Azeroth's less fortunate young beings. Even here there seems to be an abdundance of children, missing for their families-- or any families at all. Know this, dears, that should you ever need somewhere to turn, you may seek me out. My home is always open to those in need. The goes not just for this week, but for the next, and all the weeks thereafter.

But for this week in particular, stop by to see me at the plaza. I may have something special for you.

Good afternoon, my Lady. I am distressed to see you have been her for a whole month. I hope we may all go back to our worlds soon.

There's no need to worry. I'm doing well enough, and I'm assured that our worlds stay as they are until our return. I have no reason not to trust what I've been told, so it's some small comfort.

It is certainly good to know that, my Lady. However small comfort that may be to both of us. By the way, how rude of me, I must introduce myself. My name is Tatsumi Seiichiro.

Nice to meet you Alexstrasza. [Even through the screen, he can tell she's not human.] Would you be in a hurry to get back home?

[ Was it the horns or the glowing gold eyes that were the tip-off? She does get a bit serious at the thought of hurrying home, as though she's a little unsure of how to respond, though eventually she sighs in resignation. ]

There is a great deal going on at home that I would like to be present for. Though the situation is out of my control now, I would like to be there to provide as much assistance as possible.

I understand that situation. I would like to go home myself for similar reasons.

Of course, I still hope to find a means of escape that would not result in injury to innocents.

What kind of world do you come from?

Is that a question that anyone can really answer? I may be biased. My instinctive response is "a wonderful one", but I gather that is not the response you're looking for.

[He chuckles.] No, not exactly. I meant more as in if you leave among humans or on a different plane. [And there he gives a hint about his own non-humaness.]

In that case, yes, there are humans where I come from, and other races as well, who co-exist with humans. I do not live among them specifically, though I do live in the same plane of existence as they do.

Well that is quite interesting. [He wonders exactly what race she belongs to. But he's almost sure she's a demon.]

Please, ask whatever question you may have. You'll do me more favor to let me clear the air on whatever may be troubling you than to try and spare my feelings. I assure you, you will not offend me.

I am a red dragon, even though I may not look the part at the moment.

Ah, that is an interesting answer. I believed you to be something else.

Might I ask what you thought I was?

No offense, my Lady, but I thought you were a demon.

[ Admittedly, she looks a little taken aback for a brief moment, but doesn't stay ruffled for long as she reminds herself that those here are from many different worlds. No one from Azeroth ever would have mistaken her for a demon, so there's no reason to get offended. So she responds just as simply: ]

Thankfully, I am not.

I am glad you aren't. I'm sorry for having considered it. I have only met a dragon before, but not directly, but through one of my colleagues.

Are there few dragons where you're from? That seems to be the case more often than not.

Yes, there are quite few. And they don't exactly live in the same world as humans. At least in the case of the dragon I know of, only those considered worthy by him are able to meet him, and he will come in the aid of these special people.

It goes with the duty I was tasked, though I wouldn't give it up for anything.

Between us, I only have some small trinkets and my blessings for the children, so it's certainly not a difficult task, though I would be happy just for the company.

[It's undoubtedly a personal question, but it's a topic that's at the forefront of Zuko's thoughts today, so he goes ahead and asks it.]

Yes. I am missing them in many ways. Don't fret for me-- are you missing your own kin, dear?

[Ohhh that's a harder question than she'd probably intended.]

No. Yes. N-- I don't know! My uncle's here, and he's the one I really care about, so not really. [It's a harsh comment, as he tries to mask how much he still loves his father and sister, despite everything. And he always misses his mother, of course, but he's not going to bring that up either.]

Do you have any of them here?

[ Instinctively, she wants to pry, but experience and common courtesy holds her back. ]

I do not, although a relative of a good friend of mine is present and we've gotten to know each other.

It's good to have a familiar face present, I'd imagine.

Yeah, it's a relief. [He sighs, but has to admit that it's true.] It was strange to be without Uncle in the first place. [Even when he'd been away from him before, he'd known that he existed somewhere, could maybe see him again. There was no such surety here.]

Even if you didn't know whoever that is before, at least you're from the same place and don't have to constantly be explaining things to each other. Right? That must be worth something.

Yes, it was wonderful to be able to meet him for myself, especially since I had heard a bit about him prior to meeting here. Things being what they are when and where I'm from, such a thing would never have been possible, so there's that to consider as well.

... Being what they are? Do you mean that there's a war going on?

[That's instantly the assumption he leaps to. The war had always been such a huge part of his life, and of the world, so much so that it was simply referred to as 'the war'. If something was preventing them meeting, a war would be a prime candidate, and if it is, then Zuko's curious despite himself.]
