[The video comes on and what's seen is some sort of yellow fabric. The SFC moves around a bit as it's handled and finally it moves up to focus on chainmail.]

I think this is working? Hello? I'm trying to learn how to use this strange...thing. [Finally the camera moves up to show Pipit's face. He's smiling nervously and seems to be blushing.]

I'm still not sure what this thing is but the brochure said it was an SFC and I could use it to talk to people? So...how does that work?

Well, the specifics are hard to understand, but ... you can talk to people because all SRC are connected to each other.

It makes communication easier and faster, so I hope it helps.

I would say it's more close to science.

Think of it this way. There are invisible, intangible lines that connect all the SFC together and that line carries our voices and all sorts of pictures to each other.

With a lot of research and experiments, I would think.

But you mentioned magic, right? I wouldn't completely rule it out. Vatheon's coral fits in that sort of category, doesn't it?

I suppose it does. From what I understand it is the thing that brings us here, right? The coral I mean, not these strange SFCs.

Yes, that is the explanation we are given. It seems very important to the locals here as well.

How is it important to them? Do they say why?

Hmm ... I guess the biggest reason is that it supports the bubble around the city and help protect it.

They also seem to worship it. But I don't really understand their religion yet.

Back in Skyloft we worshiped the Goddess. I simply thought everyone worshiped a goddess of some sort.

You're partially right ...

In my world, people worship a lot of deities. Some are male, some are female, and there are even animal spirits. [ It's cause of a lot of headache though. Since a new crazy religion can pop up anytime. ]

Really? Wow. There is only the one in Skyloft. The one that came to Earth to watch over Skyloft after the three Goddesses raised the island into the air to protect us.
