[ Mindfang looks kind of...frazzled when she turns the feed on. Her hair's rumpled like she's slept for a month (well, okay, she did), and she has a few fancy hats piled on her head. One of the hats tumbles down as she swings the camera around, and lands in a humongous pile of bee plushes just as she turns the camera to it. ]

Okay, just whose idea of a joke was this? It's not even funny, it's just weird and pointless!

[ She might also be a little freaked out that someone managed to sneak in and do all that while she was asleep...Mindfang is used to having very good reflexes. ]

And who put the damn robot in here, anyway?

[ Flips off the camera before shutting it off.

About eight minutes later, there's some knock knock knocking on Dualscar's door. ]

[And it takes him a bit longer than usual to get to the door, but he does make it, and opens it.

He's dressed more casually than normal, and using a cane for the moment, though he stands tall and strong - on one foot. He's missing his left leg below the knee]

You didn't wwaste time. Please, come in, Spinneret.

Okay. Who do I kill for touching my kismesis?

[Orly, Mindfang? Dualscar's lips curve up a bit at that, and he closes the door adn begins to make his way back to the living room]

The Summoner left me wwith this little problem, but havve no fear. Darkleer is givvin me a neww one, and it wwon't be any kind a disability for much longer.

[ A slight hesitation at that, but then the moment's past and she rallies. ]

Doesn't matter. He touched what's mine to hurt. Can't have that.

[He smiles and takes her hand as he sits down on the sofa, tugging to try to get her to come down with him]

Do I sense a little jealousy? You don't havve half a his powwer, I think. He used the beasts a the air and ocean against me.

[ She bristles, not going with his tugging. ]

So sorry I don't measure up. What lofty standards you have, Orphaner, flirting pitch with a brown. Gosh, being able to control actual trolls with minds rather than simple animals, how very pedestrian I must seem to you!

What a boring reason. I'd hoped there was some great story behind it. Something to make up for how damn boring it is here.

[ Nope, just gonna avoid that. And stand a little taller, since it's bugging him so much. ]

It wwasn't that fuckin' boring. I accidentally culled my owwn fuckin' moirail! [Yeah, he's getting testy now, and she's pissing him off]

The key part of that being accident. Hell, it's not even as if death is permanent here.

[ She'll just move down into his lap now, with delicate care. Don't mind her straddling you, Dualscar. ]

I wwasn't about to fuckin' cull him on purpose. [The words end in a growl, but now she's climbing into his lap, so that's good] You don't havve to be concerned about Signless in any kind a wway.

[ She leans in, kissing his neck, just under his fins. ]

So, a new leg, huh? Interesting.

[Oh yes, this is nice. His fins flare a bit, lifting as she kisses him in that sensitive spot, and his fingers scrape down her back, digging in just a bit with his claws]

He's doin' it to my specifications, a course. Might havve a feww surprises.

I guess you'll be pretty useless for anything fun until then, mm?

[ She grins a little, obviously baiting him. ]

[He scowls and grabs her ass in both hands, arching against her]

Isn't this 'fun' to you? I think it is.

Not with an...inadequate partner, shall we say. And after all, isn't that what a cripple is?

[ But she doesn't move away or get him to stop grabbing her ass. She likes that, okay. ]

[He bares his teeth] I'm far from crippled, girl.

[Shifting, he tries to press her down to the sofa. He's only lost his leg below the knee - while that might give him a few disadvantages, he still has his weight and strength]

[ She sees that coming, but allows it. She wants to have fun, after all that time out of action. Needs to make up for things. ]

Prove it.

[He has missed her, and he fully intends to do so. So he kisses her soundly, his hands busy over her body as he presses her down to the sofa.]

[ She lets out a little groan into the kiss, clutching at his shoulders, digging her claws into his skin. Like she cares he's injured. He'd better be able to keep up with her. ]
