I'm alive awake alert enthusiastic ♫
[Guess who's awake! Seems like he's not the only one, either.]
So, uh, guess it was my turn for one of those coma nap things. Seems like I missed some crazy shit this past week, what with the coral freaking out. Anything else going on I should know about?
And for all my hunnies, I hope you weren't too worried♥ The Great Zelos Wilder is just fine~
[Filtered to Guy]
You okay man? I was kind of out of it already the last time we talked.
[Filtered to Kratos]
Stay the fuck out of my house!
[Filtered to Ky]
You are the neediest little SOB I've ever met. It's like you want in my pants or something, geeze.

[This is where Kratos deviates from how he usually behaves around Zelos. Usually, he backs down easily, cowed by his own guilt. Not this time. He narrows his eyes and looks directly at the screen.]
If you think that I will not watch over him with Mithos present in this city, you are mistaken. He believes Mithos to be a friend. You and I both know how easily he can be hurt that way.
Video | Private
And how exactly are you gonna keep your homicidal friend off Lloyd, huh? 'cause you did such a brilliant job before.
[Okay that's not entirely fair; Zelos is aware that handling Mithos is a difficult task, but he's not too inclined to be forgiving of Kratos in any way shape or form. He never is, really.]

[Huff.]
You'd better make sure because if anything happens to Lloyd it's not just his fault, it's yours.

[And while Mithos has partially agreed to it thus far, what's going to happen when Kratos reports back what Colette said? Damn it all.]
Video | Private
[Zelos slumps back in his chair, his tone uncommonly low as he crosses his arms. It's a defensive posture, not something he's adopted in front of Kratos since he'd first stepped foot on Derris Kharlan, determined to escape his fate as Chosen. Suddenly the desk he's got his SFC perched on is far more interesting than the screen.]
I just hope Colette's right and we don't remember any of this crap when we get sent back. If we get sent back.
[And if someone finds them a way out instead... What then? Would they each get sent back to their own times but with memories intact? Would they be displaced or change history? It gives him a headache.]

I hope that is the case as well. Mithos is willing to consider germinating the tree now, but he still seems intent on creating an age of lifeless beings. It was pointed out to me that even if he is defeated, the Desians and angels would still carry on with that in his stead. Perhaps I should take them all to Derris-Kharlan and...
[And what? Kill them all? Send the damn comet into the sun? No, it's not their fault. He'll watch over them, try to teach them to live. Those poor bastards, being taught to live by a man that would rather be dead.]
...I suppose that does not matter in this place.
[Yep, they're fucked.]

[It's odd, knowing more than Kratos. Usually they're on the same page and just interpret everything drastically differently, but Zelos is from further along in their timeline, he knows that Kratos ultimately did exactly that, resulting in.. well, people like Dhaos. That odd mix of fierce loyalty and pragmatism Dhaos has displayed has Kratos written all over it.
Ugh, what happened? He'd rather be angry. Angry he can handle, angry he can process. Speaking civilly with Kratos of all people is throwing the world out of balance as far as he's concerned.]
Well, just keep your little master in check and we'll manage. I'll watch over Lloyd.
[His tone is dark, defying Kratos to argue that Lloyd isn't safe with him.]

Very well.
[Quietly, he reaches out to turn off the feed.]

He doesn't want to think about the why too much. If he at all admits that he has something to prove to Kratos of all people, he may as well just roll over and go back to sleep for another week.
Still, Zelos has always been exceptionally good at reading people and while Kratos's stoicism has oftentimes messed with his ability, he can tell the man loves his son, whether the Seraph deserves to or not thanks to his previous actions.
And that base feeling, at least, Zelos can respect.
He lets Kratos turn off the feed without any needling last word.]
