[ The first thing visible when the SFC turns on is what appears to be a wall before it shifts and settles on Glen, eyes dark and very little there in way of an expression. ]
...The other day, a woman arrived with black hair and red eyes.
Her name is Lacie... she is my sister. [ A beat. ] If anyone needs to speak with her they will contact me first until she is in a better condition.
[ Can't tell unless you listen closely but there is a bit of concern and possible worry evident in his voice.
With that though, Glen ends the feed. Being totally serious about making sure she is going to have the time she needs to rest. ]

[actionl they live in the same house!]

[ To see Jack was not so unexpected so he was not bothered. ]
[action]
[He's fidgeting.] Is she well?
[action]
[ Which is why he is out here in the living room area instead of his room. He lets a pause linger and he averts his gaze briefly.
Feeling guilt, guilt and more guilt for how she'd arrived really. ]
...She'll live but she will need some time to rest before she can do anything extensive.
[ Leaving it at that. Y e p. He doesn't wanna say she came here covered in blood. ]
[action]
[Grin.] And we could have time to straighten our difference.

like. feelings that brother is being protective and curt. as usual. this shouldn't, and doesn't, surprise her, so she rolls in his bed a bit and debates going to find her brother.
she does wonder.]

stairs are a slight difficulty, and one she faces with a brave face. lacie is determined, you see! and clothed this time, thank god.
eventually she manages to make her way to the living room, giving it one day glance and lingering in the open way with a hand supporting her on the wall.] Brother. [a simple call, whether to help her or not-
- choice is his, and she lingers still.] You worry too much. I'll be just fine.
[action]
However with Lacie being his sister she could likely tell all of his emotions even with this in place. She'd been good at that for quite some time.
Glen's expression softens only a touch when she tells him not to worry, which makes him shake his head in response as he moves to her side. Ready to help her with moving around - don't make him carry you again, he will do it - if she so requires it. It's too soon for her to be moving around in his eyes and he doesn't want anything happening to her. ]
...You shouldn't be moving around yet.
[ Fretting. He's been without you for months so of course he has plenty of reason to act this way entirely. ]
When you can walk without need of support, I will stop worrying. Until then you should be resting, Lacie.

his worry— momentarily, she doesn't know what to do with it. lacie is already dead, long gone and unable to return or wish for anything other than an end to her pain. here, in this place, in his room, and now in the living room: nothing can touch her. not the abyss, not the people around her— only her brother, and because of her brother. jack and canada have tried to see her too, but...
lacie does not want to see anyone. rather, she doesn't want anyone to see her, beaten and bruised and weak. at this time, oswald is the only one she will permit to see her, the only one she will permit to be at her side - as if she had a choice, that is. staying angry at oswald is exceedingly hard these days.
loving her brother, however...
that is easy.] Now, now... let me walk around a bit. I won't heal if I don't stretch my legs from time to time.
[reaching out to him though for support and wiggling her arms around his chest to use the excuse of a hug. brotherrrr. ... well. this latching might actually be genuine, to be honest. she has her brother in reach.
her brother, who has never been able to push her hands away.]
Besides, you're here. You won't let me exert myself. [/willful. c: rabu brother rabu.]
