[Video] What it means to be a Nobody.

[ The SFC seems to click on accidentally. Sora's hands moving away from it, so perhaps the blue-eyed boy managed to hit it on accident.

[ One knee was pulled up and he was looking out across the cityscape with a completely blank expression on his face. Anyone that knows the keyblade master should recognize there's something off about that. ]

Is this what it feels like?

[ Sora lifts up his hand and places it over his chest where his heart should be. ]

[Hello face. Why are you on the other side of the feed and recolored?

On the other end of the video feed? Was a Moomba.

Since he had the cute and cuddly going on, might as well make the most of it. There was the sound of purring from the cat like creature. Say hi, Sora.]

[ ... she ... actually knows this feeling. quite well, in fact. ]

You don't have a heart?

[ And now she's trying not to panic over the well-being of this person she doesn't know. ]

Are you okay!? That doesn't sound good at all!

[Axel has been thankfully unaffected by the curse the coral has decided to place over the dome right now, but he's not too keen on sitting back and watching other people, namely the people he actually likes have to deal with it.

...This one is no exception.

For a while he just stares, unresponsive with one hand cupping his chin in thought, before finally he sets his feed to private so that he can talk to Sora face to face.]

So that's what it's done to you, huh?

H-hey... are you alright?

[Normally you'd get audio, as he's embarrassed to show his now human face, but this shocks him so much he doesn't even care about his appearance.]

What?!

[ Sora looks back to the SFC but there's no surprise or any other emotion on his face at all. ]

Who are you?

[ He still sounds curious enough thought, and he certainly is. ]

[ Sora looks over with no emotions on his face. ]

It's okay.

I guess this is one of the curses of this place huh?

[ For Estelle's benefit, Sora tries for a reassuring smile but it doesn't quite reach his eyes. ]

I'll be all right. See? [ He flexes his hands and moves a bit to show he's still alive and moving. ]

Axel, [ He smiles a bit, but it doesn't quite reach his eyes which is strange enough for him. ]

Yeah...I guess I'm like you now.

Huh? Yeah, I'm alright.

[ Sora tried for a smile. ]

[ Sora stares at the screen. He knows he should be surprised, because while the face is not that of the familiar mouse but a human, Sora can't get the emotion to reach his face. Still there's no denying the sound of that voice. ]

Your Majesty?

[The black haired boy blinks for a moment, having forgotten his own problems for the moment.]

Huh? ... Oh, uh, yeah, it's me! But did ya say ya lost yer heart?!

B-but... you just said you lost your heart...?

[Xion's been fairly content to stay home and surf the guide after everything that happened last week. She's been halfheartedly observing everyone's various powerswaps, but this one gets her attention.

Namely because she didn't even know he was here.

So before she can even address the fact he's missing one heart (which is also worrying), she pauses while she gets what she wants to say lined out. It's not like he's anyone she ever thought she'd meet.]

[By the time she finally feels mentally coherent enough to get to his actual question, she's settled on an audio feed. She's assuming he probably does not need her face-hiding shenanigans right now.

It's not much of a question, but it comes out sounding genuinely concerned and more than a bit nervous.]

Are you going to be alright?

[Luckily, a certain best friend wasn't affected by the curse this world decided to inflict upon them this time, though the look in his eyes...

Riku knew what it was like in a sense, to only be a heart lost in darkness, to push aside emotions for the good of someone else, bury it all deep within him, but to actually lose it... He isn't sure whether to be empathetic or furious at them. ...The former, for now, but what does he even say?]

...Sora.

[ she notices that, but the fact that he was trying managed to calm her down a little bit. and, for all intents and purposes, he seems like he's able to physically move and ... well, he seems alive.

but what about him not having a heart? that can't be good for him, not at all. ]

I-I ... I'm having some trouble understanding how this works. Is it really okay for you not to have a heart?

It looks that way. So then, it'll be over soon.

[ She attempts a smile, for both of them. ]

I lost my heart once, technically. It was more rough on my brother and my boyfriend than it was on me, since I couldn't feel very much myself, but I can kind of imagine what you're going through right now.

[ the difference here being that she made her own lack of heart happen on her own. she knew what she was getting herself into, and knew there was a chance that she might not be able to be herself ever again when she did it. in this case ... this was unwilling, it sounded. ]

I...I've never felt this empty before.

[ Sora frowns a bit since he's not even sure that's the right way to describe how he's feeling...or not feeling as the case may be. ]

I'm not really upset about this.

[ Sora pauses and tries to think about how to explain this. ]

It's...it's more than just the heart that's keeping me alive.

I think it's just one of the curses, so I should be okay.

[ He tries for another smile, but it still doesn't reach his eyes. ]

I'm not used to this.

Yeah...I guess that's how the curse affected me.

[ Sora holds his hand out to the side and focuses his energy so that a dark portal opens up not too far away from him. ]

I can do that now too.

[ That voice...Somehow it's familiar and different at the same time, but since there isn't a face to go along with it, Sora doesn't think anything of it. ]

Yeah, I'll be okay.

Riku...

[ Sora looks over to the screen and his silver haired friend. Sora feels without feeling that he should be ashamed of the situation he's in, yet he can't bring himself to actually care. It's different perhaps than what Riku would have ever gone through. ]

So, I guess this is one of the curses I've heard so much about.
