[ When the SFC turns on Raine doesn't look comfortable. At all. She seems to be struggling with something. Namely the fact that she doesn't have legs anymore but an orange mermaid tail and a pair of shells as a top to boot.

For a moment, she doesn't look too sure whether she wants to say anything before she finally clear her throats. ]

I seems that I've been caught up in what has currently been going around. Would... someone be kind enough to help me?

[ She's fully aware what she's asking. But it's not that she had much of a choice at this point. ]

[It's a very human Kratos that answers, squinting even with the glasses on. After four thousand years of having an angel's sight, this is just not sufficient.]

It seems you have become a mermaid. What sort of aid were you looking for?

Would you like me to assist you? There is a lake in the forest down here in the bubble. There is also the ocean, but it would depend on what sort of mercreature you have become.

[Raine was afraid of the water though, wasn't she? He hasn't forgotten how she reacted to taking washtubs across the ocean.]

I'm... not comfortable with being underwater, despite being in the bubble. However, the only choice here on the island is the sea so I suppose I don't have much of a choice. You are feel to assist me if you wish to. It seems that I can currently breath out of water but I don't want to take the chance that this is only temporary.

[ She was but it's better to be cautious than to suddenly not have the ability to breath if she's out of water. ]

[Kratos tucks the SFC in his pocket quietly, leaving it on in case she has anything else to say but not out in his way. The elevator was this way, wasn't it? Ah, yes. He waits patiently as the Station Master takes him up to the top, then... stumbles, covering his eyes. Was the sun always so bright?! It hurts!]

[ Raine waits in her house as Kratos started to proceed to where she resides. She doesn't say anything. At least until she hears a stumble on the other side of the SFC. ]

Seems you are having problems adjusting.

[Very funny, Raine. Does she find this amusing? He huffs quietly as he makes his way to the house. He hasn't spoken with her since arriving, but he noted where it was all the same. That's just how he operates.]

I am admittedly not used to functioning as an ordinary human.

[Figuring that she'll be unable to get to the door, he simply opens it once he gets there. She'd sent out a video feed, he knew she wasn't in an inappropriate state of dress.]

He just made sure to acquire a several layers to wear before getting to the lake to conceal herhis own shells.]

Not alone with the tail thing, lass. Had my mate bring me out to the lake. It's a bit hard to get used to though.

I.. see. Typically I would be a bit curious about how I've turned into such a creature but... I would have preferred it to be a creature that suits me more.

A more accurate description of a mermaid is a half-human sea creature. But.. yes. You are correct and thus it... sort of makes things difficult.

[ Lloyd you are terrible at trying to just look at her face. Raine can see that quite clearly. ]

[He's not sure what kind of help Raine needs, though. Hopefully she'll know herself.]

I'm pondered about a bathtub myself. However, whether a bathtub or another body of water is suitable I cannot move myself.

[That's at least a relief. The way she says it also brings a small smile to his face. How many times before had she told him help was on the way when he'd been hurt and bleeding in the middle of a fight? Of course, what she'd meant then was that she was about to cast a spell to heal him, he just needed to hold on a little longer. Somehow he gets the feeling that there's no spell to fix something like this.]

Are you really going to be all right sitting in water like that? Do you want me to get you a floatie?

[ Raine took a moment to contemplate Lloyd's question. To be honest, it was a question that she herself is having trouble answering. She's never been able to react to bodies of water very well. Bathtubs are... okay but anything larger were all bodies that frightened her. ]

I'll be... all right. If not then the one who is bringing me should be able to provide me assistance. However, since I have been turned into a mermaid then I should not have any problems in terms of floating in the water.

[ At least she will hope ]

Professor! I'm sorry, I can't really help... [Colette's ears flick down, and they're much longer than they ought to be. They look like Zelda's more than anything.]

I would carry you if I hadn't been changed by this curse... [She wasn't as unused to it as Kratos, but it was still a huge difference, not having angel strength, hearing, or sight.]

[ A soft smile before catching Colette's ears. They're pointy... but they're also longer... ]

I don't think I'm familiar with someone named Zelda. Do you mind describing that she is a bit?

[She blinks and smiles.]

She's Zelos's housemate, and she has really long ears, like mine are right now.

She's nice and the one who helped Zelos when he first arrived, back when I was the only one of us here. I think she can use some sort of magic, but I'm not sure. I've never seen her use it, but she seems like she has it. [Doesn't make much sense, but Colette has never actually talked to Zelda in person.]

I see. I think Zelos might have mentioned her once before. I wonder what kind of magic she has. I'm unsure of what her magic might be but if her world is like ours in race then the pointed ears would tell us that she is an elf. Though they seem longer than the elven ears from back home.

He probably did! They started living together only a little while after he arrived. [He hadn't even changed clothes yet when he called her, and that's when he said he was living with her after all.]

And I'm not sure what her world is like. She's probably from the race closest to our elves though.
