The weather has grown quite warm in the recent week, enough to require summer robes to keep cool. The locals have informed me of an odd creation called "air conditioning". Such an odd name, I was skeptical at first, yet this air conditioning is much more effective at cooling the house down than paper fans.

This house does not have enough paper doors to open during the summer either. I do not recall last year being this warm, yet it is hard to say. The months and years seem to blend together the longer I am here.

Speaking of unusual activity, this fishlympics has me quite intrigued. Games of friendly competition. This does sound quite enjoyable. Certainly it is something to raise the morale in this bubble city.

Pleasant but it still lacks the charm of Echigo. There were once invasions and creatures to fight, yet recently that quieted down, leaving the place a bit uneventful.

Lacks is not enough of an accurate word to use. [This place was nothing like Echigo, or even modern Japan.] I find that most things that lurk quietly are usually up to no good.

Indeed. [ nothing compared to Echigo, but he was a bit biased with that opinion. ]</small This place is hardly up to any good. The locals are incredibly suspicious with their unusual mannerisms. I would not recommend leaving yourself unguarded.

I hadn't planned on being unguarded. [It's pretty much second nature for Aya to be alert. Never had he ever relaxed before that night eight years ago.]

That was the first time. Minato-dono seems to lead the project. He is sometimes hard to find, though inquiring about it on the network should find you some answers.
