[Ky's sitting formally at the desk in his apartment, his back straight and the cup of tea he had been sipping on set aside for the moment. This is a far less formal matter than things he's spoken of before, in many ways. He's trying to get other people's opinions for the simple reason that he's curious, and nothing more.]

Is there any one person you would say has made you who you are? Whose opinion you automatically trust, or trusted, more?

[Ky's had a lot more time to think about questions like this since he's been in Vatheon, and certainly he thinks he's learned a lot from questions that other people have asked, even if they don't have immediate or direct consequences. And Zelda's recitation of what the scientist had said, about them having to be heroes, had struck home. How did people learn to be heroes, after all?]

If so, why them? Did it just happen, or did they do something to make you trust them?

And if not, how did you work things out on your own?

That seems reasonable enough to me. I do believe that what we do here...will affect the balance of our souls, if nothing else. And it might not be nothing else.

Would going home be that unpleasant for you? Or are you simply happier here?

Duex, Monsieur. This place is a lot more accepting of...well, pretty much everything. Besides, it lets me walk around in the daylight, even if that means I have to stay underwater~

[Not that Ky's ever known a time that he didn't consider himself to have a duty, and that has more to do with him than the world.]
