Video: Assemble, healers of Vatheon!

[As always, where everyone else sees fun and games, Zelda sees trouble waiting to happen. At least she's being proactive about it!]

Is anyone else concerned about these "fishlympics"? It sounds as if the potential for injury is quite high. I wouldn't want to spoil anyone's fun though, so perhaps I should set up on-site medical facilities to deal with any emergencies. Would anyone be interested in joining me?

[She misses flying? Oh, well that's easily fixed.]

If you would like, I could teach you to fly once the games are over.

Truly? Even without a crystal? Though I suppose you don't have one, do you? I would like that!

[She smiles at him brightly, actually looking her age for once.]

[He returns an equally bright smile, the simple fact that she is happy bringing him joy.]

[Why are they even talking on the SFC? Zelda just gets up and goes to the next room.]

[He's somewhat glad he neglected to wear a cloak today; for all that his wings are insubstantial, the tingling sensation that comes when they pass through objects is not exactly a comfortable feeling. The wings themselves are rather more like two sets of four upward-facing scythes than the traditional "feathers," coloured such a soft green that they are nearly white.]

[Hopefully it's not too uncomfortable of a sensation, because if he thinks Zelda's not going to touch them, he would be terribly wrong. She's already running a hand over the structure of mana, trying to determine any differences between his and the ones she and Duke bore during the last curse.]

[It's actually not an unpleasant feeling at all, since her hands aren't actually passing through his wings. It's almost pleasant even, considering how delicately she's treating them. The structure may be a bit more fluid than the ones she and Duke had, though that may simply be due to his being a water-type personality.]

They're lovely. Constructed entirely of mana? Do you have any sensation?

[At least she doesn't try to wrap Dhaos in mana like Duke has done to her before. That is exceedingly... stimulating.]

[It would become very awkward for both of them very quickly, so yes, 'tis a very good thing she's not doing that.]

Yes. It is a mild discomfort when they pass through objects, but otherwise they simply act as an extension of my body.

Do you think it would be possible for me to learn to do this without having parents that had been altered by a Cruxis Crystal? Flight is extraordinarily useful...

[The princess moves back around so that she can look up at him eagerly.]

It is all a matter of precise control of your magic. I believe that any mage with sufficient will can learn, no matter their lineage.

[After all, being descended of those altered by the Crystals certainly did not guarantee a set of wings. In fact, he had heard that he was the first in at least three generations who had learned the joys of flight. ...Dhaos is fairly certain that it is simply a rare ability, and the others who have learned are simply hermits who do not wish others to know.

And frankly, he doesn't want to be wrong about this. He wants to be able to share this small joy with Zelda. It is thus that he smiles when he turns fully to face her again.]

If any in Vatheon can learn, I am sure that it is you.

[Oh Dhaos, there's no need for flattery. Zelda laughs gently regardless.]

I fear I'm not quite as skilled as you're making me out to be, but my people did live in the sky once. Perhaps I'll have an affinity for it.

[She settles down on the nearest place to sit, even if that's his bed.]

Can you explain the basics?
