HELLO EVERYONE! [Please don't mind his shouting..he's just trying to make sure everyone gets a very cheerful greeting.]

I hope everyone is doing well! I am very excited for whatever this event is that the other people are getting ready for. I'm sure it is going to be a lot of fun!

[Oh wait..this isn't supposed to be some social chat, he had a purpose right? Right!]

Ah! I just wanted to make sure everyone had a nice start to the day! Oh and to let you know that there are lots of really nice people that are going to be working at that new host club so make sure you come and meet them! We'll make sure you have a great time. You even get to pick who you get to meet! I'm sure it's going to be a lot of fun.

I'm already having lots of fun working in the tavern. You should all come to that too! Ahh..I'm staying so busy! Oh right! That reminds me..I wanted to ask a question! What does everyone else like to do while they are here? I bet there are all kinds of fun activities that people take part it.

Nah. Zelos seems convinced everyone's gonna want to come 'cause of the guys. I'unno why, I never understood host clubs, but [shrug] it's his idea. I ain't gonna argue with it.

Maybe you could tell me about them! I joined it but I don't really know what a host club is like. It just sounded like fun from what I was told.

Oh uh... basically people pay people for company and entertainment for a few hours. In Japan most of 'em are for older people so there's alcohol involved, but some schools have host clubs for teenagers too where there isn't any.

Hmn... most of this I remember from manga and movies so it might be wrong but... I think people are supposed to choose their favorite host and stick with 'em, so there's things like appointments involved.

Oh and there's probably gonna be events and stuff, like costume days and things like that.

It all sounds very interesting! Especially the idea of getting to wear costumes. I'm sure this is going to be a lot of fun for everyone.

Heh, you can wear costumes. I'm gonna stay in the kitchen.

It probably would be safer if you wore normal clothing.

Well yeah. I'm not gonna be a host anyway. My girlfriend would probably flip out if I was.

I'm not sure. I've never actually dated anyone, but I suppose jealousy is always a possible outcome with this sort of thing.

If you were worried about her not liking your job, why did you decide to take it?

I think it's more my boss she doesn't like... but she's usually pretty cool with everything and she hasn't really gotten mad or anything. Just... kinda grumbly. But like I said I think that's cause of Zelos more than anything.

It was the only place hirin' that wanted a cook... and Peony didn't make a big deal about me not wantin' to be a host. I figure if I can actually hold down this job, maybe I won't suck so much at other ones...

[he trails off, glancing to the side as he seems to recall something vaguely painful, a distant yet sad look coming over him for a moment. He shakes his head a little, letting out a sigh.]

Maka's my first girlfriend so I guess I'm just tryin' really hard to not push my luck any more than I already do just by bein' me...

I'm sure deep down she's happy that you have a job doing something you enjoy. You do seem to enjoy cooking a lot and I don't even know you that well. Just give her time.

You'll do fine at this job. I believe in you and I'm sure she does too. Just try to stay positive and look towards the good points of this job. If you are energetic about it, that energy will eventually transfer to her as well and you can share it.
