[He looks up from the dart and then after he shrugs he takes quick aim at the dartboard and tosses it, sending it smack dab in the middle.]

I was just curious, was all. Did you know Lea at all?

[...nice shot. Roxas goes over to sit down on the bed near Axel.]

Not really. We only talked the one time.

Oh. [Once? Huh. With the similarities between Roxas and Ven, Axel thought that Lea would have at least talked to Roxas more than that. He stares at the dart he tossed for a beat before he flops back down on the bed again to stare up at the ceiling.

To be honest, he's not even sure why he would call Roxas in here if he doesn't even like talking about himself, let alone his Other, but...perhaps in some distant part of his mind he'd like to anyway.]

...Well, he's gone now.

[Roxas kind of figured that's who he meant by 'mini me.' He's not sure what's going through Axel's mind about it, but it definitely seems like he wants to get some of it out.]

...you miss him any?

...Well, it's your other half, isn't it?

[In other words, he guesses that he does. He's just not sure.]

I can't miss anything, but-- [Shrug] --I guess I feel like there's something missing.

...I know I'll miss Sora when he goes.

[There's no 'if' about it in his mind. One day Sora will get the chance to go home, and he'll take it.]

He's... like family. I guess Lea's the same for you.

Mm. [To be honest, Axel would rather Lea go back home than have to put up with all of this down here. It's just--He knows his Other and he knows that being cooped up just isn't for him. He doesn't know if Lea really is like family, necessarily, but he supposes that that's close enough.]

...Were you busy? [He doesn't want to keep you if you were. He just likes having you around, bff, that's all.]

[The host club finished up for the day a while ago... but even if he was busy, he'd make time.]

I'm all ears if you've got anything else you wanna get off your chest.

Hm. [He thinks, then with a raised finger,] Don't think just 'cause Lea's gone, I'm gonna be a softy and all. Get that memorized, 'kay?

It might. You do have that baby-ish charm about you that would make it hard not to get mushy. [He shrugs and then reaches over to grab another dart from his table.]
