[Hello, Vatheon! So I heard you liked sudden soaking wet people being confused at starfishes. Well, you're in luck, because here's some more of that!
Notably, she doesn't have even a single hair out of place and her makeup is still perfect despite being soaked to the bone. It's a princess thing. She doesn't even look all that confused or alarmed, she seems quite content here knelt on the floor of the plaza]
I wasn't quite expecting - well, whatever has happened. If anyone could offer an explanation, I would be very grateful.
...a change of clothes would probably be helpful, too.

Pulled here unwillingly, you're stuck here until this stupid coral god thingy in the center of town decides you're gone.
I'd say "Sucks to be you" right now, except of course I'm trapped here too. As are a LOT of other people.

[...though she hasn't stopped smiling once. Her only real reaction has been to blink in confusion for a moment as she absorbs that.]
But- what kind of things that shouldn't really happen? This whole sea business aside, I've noticed that.
no subject
It's really kind of scary when you consider the implications of it. I spend a lot of time studying it...
no subject
What are those implications? I'm afraid this isn't an area in which I am well-read. Is it dangerous?
no subject
That's not so weird, I guess. What is, is how both Aer-based magic and Mana-based magic can coexist without a problem. It implies that both are present... Which is strange, because if Mana exists, it should be essentially eating the Aer, preventing that sort of magic from working.
no subject
Hmm. Well, if they both work then perhaps- [A pause, while she collects her thoughts.] -perhaps it is eating something else?
no subject
Unless I just picked the wrong tests. Which... I guess is possible? Maybe?

[Sensitivity with infodumps? Why would he do that?]
[Her smile doesn't vanish, it'll take more than that to manage it, but it does turn thoughtful for a moment. And then-]
Do you know of any way to send a message back? I have duties, and I should at least apologize for my current inability to fulfil them.
That is fortuitous, at least. Do you know why so many people have been brought here?
...and I suppose that if our captors were willing to allow us to opt out of these experiments then people would have already done so. Are they dangerous, at all?

sisterpirate was else where, but that was going to change. As she saw the video she accidentally sent a response of her making a gasp and then clasping her hand across the feed.
Totally didn't just see that purple hair, right?]

Steps could be heard as Faris took off.]
Erm-? Hello! Are you okay? The person who just threw this at you, can you tell me who they are? They look like someone I know.
[SERIOUSLY OW. Don't midn him, he's just going to rub the back of his head before he replies.]
Freakin' A, that hurt... I, uh... S-Sorry about that, um... That was Faris.
...wait, are you hurt? I'm so sorry!

action 3/3
Faris had managed to snag a towel along the way.
Why was she kneeling? Was she hurt?]
Lenna! [Do you know how to dry yourself? For the moment Faris was going to forget the answer to that as she crouched down before her and started to help herself to toweling her hair.] Did ya just arrive? What do you remember last? Are you hurt any where?
SISSSSSS
[She'll address the questions in a second, once she gets over her happiness about that. She'd been under the impression that she'd been dragged here alone.Eventually she takes the towel and stands, drying herself off.]
I'm fine, I just arrived a little while ago. The last thing I remember before this - we'd returned to Tycoon a few days ago. Everyone was resting to recover after the battle.
Sissy *^*
What are you talking about, lass? I'm not your sister. And I don't remember returning to Tycoon.
[She knew people were taken from all different times and places, but never thought it'd happen to her. Faris was standing up since her toweling services were no longer required. She scratched the back of her head before shaking her head.]
Might be the water getting to ya. Sure after some rest you'll be fine. Welcome to Vatheon, princess.
GO AND BREAK HER HEART WHY DON'T YOU SIS???
...I suppose it must be the water, yes.
[She continues drying herself off in silence, trying to figure out what exactly could have happened.]
What do you recall before you came here, [And there's a rather long pause, where she starts addressing Faris in one way and changes at last minute.] ...Faris?
;~~~~; she didn't mean to
This place likes to play tricks on ya. [Faris continued to keep her focus off of Lenna.]
After Walse's Tower sank. After Syldra saved us. [And after watching Syldra bid them farewell, while Faris was held back.] Been here for months now.
;A;
[And the smile returns. This is... difficult. But it means that Faris hasn't had to lose father, even if she doesn't seem to have gained him yet either, or Galuf. Maybe it's for the best.]
It's been some time since then for me, as well. I suppose that means it's true what I've been told, that we're somehow here wouldn't being absent from home.
