[Video/action] Wherein she visits the library
[She had heard rumors of this place, she was pretty sure that someone had even told her about it earlier, back when she was less acclimated to this undersea world. She had been walking, still growing used to being around a large group of people, when her nose had caught scent, of all things, paper; large quantities too. Having spoken to the librarian and finding out exactly the place was, she decides to call Signless in a bout of giddiness. Still not that adept with the comm, she manages to send it broadcast instead.]
[Disciples excited face appears in the video, clearly something very good has happened by the smile on her face. Finally finding words, she speaks.]
SIGNLESS! THIS PLACE HAS BOOKS! FOR FREE!
[She is immediately hushed by someone off-screen. Looking in direction of the voice she apologizes, but continues at a slightly quieter tone.]
They said I could borrow some to read, and then can return for more later! Isn't that amazing!?

[Action]
[Well, he would have, if he'd been alive for most of the time Signless was dead, but Dualscar died! So that's pretty bad, too]
Then if you wwant to make this your home, you're best to accept the wway things are here. And that includes the uncontrovvertable fact that I am noww an ally a yours, and the moirail to your matesprit, so you'd just best get ovver anythin' else.
[Action]
[The fire of anger inside her was getting stoked into a wildfire. A small voice in her screamed to just leave before it got even worse, but she brushed it aside; His presumption was just so damned... aggravating.]
An Ally. You? I'd laugh, but I think you aren't joking. You may be his Moirail, which light only knows what he sees in you,[She chuckles harshly.] but one thing I know for certain is that you will never be my ally.
[Action]
[Action]
[He may have died, but you are not the one that punished him. How is it fair that you do not get to be to the to deliver the killing blow. He was your matesprit, so you should get the retribution. These and other dark thoughts continued to dominate her mind. Dualscar looming over her was the final straw. Disciple's animal instinct, already on high alert, did not take well to the obvious attempt to intimidate her. To her horror she could feel herself giving in; she would have her vengence.]
[Her last action, before she succumbed, was to plant her hands firmly on Dualscar's chest. With a grunt, she shoves him vigorously away from herself. Then with a deep guttural voice, she speaks a few words.]
Leave... Now.
[It had been an attempt at a warning, too bad it may not have come off as one. Leading up to the shove, changes were slowly overtaking her features. Nothing incredibly drastic, but Disciple's stance, breathing, even the look of her eyes, were starting to take on a noticeably wild look to them.]
Re: [Action]
Kanaya rounds a corner, the pair of trolls suddenly in view. She can't help but call out to her friend.
"Disciple!"
She rushes in, interjecting herself between the two of them, facing the greenblood.
[Action]
He bares his teeth at her, his hands clenching and fins flaring with challenge.
But before he can draw a weapon or decide what the changes coming over her features might mean, someone interposed themselves between them. He snarls again, but recognizes the horns a moment later, and reels back. Especially when he realizes that Kanaya is facing Disciple, and she's left her unprotected back facing him.
"Kanaya...Wwhat are you doin' here?"
[Action]
She smells the interloper before her other senses pick her up. She knew this scent well, jadeblood, It was Kanaya. Why was she here? Didn't matter so long as she stayed out of her damned way.
Her gaze shifts slightly at the calling of her name, still keeping an eye on Dualscar, she didn't want her quarry to escape. The young troll interjects herself between her and her prey, and that makes her even more angry. Who was this little one to try and get in her way!?
"One... chance. Move, little jadeblood!" Her voice is shaky and low, coming out like a snarl.
[Action]
Kanaya was cold and forceful, even if deep down she was terrified. She understands quite well that she's leaving her back to Dualscar, and she did see how angry he looked... but Disciple needs her help. Kanaya can see just how far gone the oliveblood was into her rage, her primitive state, and she could tell that her friend was getting ready to make a terrible mistake, one that she would regret... assuming she survives the encounter.
"Disciple. You know I cannot let you do this." She'll ignore Dualscar's question for a moment, she needs to keep the Disciple's attention away from him.
[Action]
"She's nothin' more than a hypocrite," he says, uncaring that it might enrage her more. "He preaches forgivveness an peace, and the moment she sees me, she attacks me wwithout the slightest a provvocation. This is the third fuckin time and I'm gettin' tired a puttin' her dowwn wwithout damaging her foolish husk."
[Action]
"You kill... Signless. Play at... Moirail. Don't know your game. Won't let you hurt him. Not again."
Her attention shifts to the Jadeblood preventing her from getting at the target of her primal fury.
"You move. He must pay. Dont want to hurt Jadeblood. Will if dont get out of way." She takes another step forward, signaling her intent. Her claws were bared at either side of her. The greenblood was past the point of no return.
[Action]
Kanaya falters as she looks back at the feral troll. She's too far gone now... The glowing jadeblood lowers her self a little, bending her knees and keeping her hands up. If disciple makes a move she's going to have to stop her... somehow.
"Disciple, no. Don't do this. I know you don't want to hurt me, and I don't want to hurt you."
Re: [Action]
He hisses and takes a step back, resisting the urge to draw his sword from his specibus.
"You don't deservve to be hurt protectin' me, Maryam. She's not gonna let me go wwithout vviolence."
[Action]
[Kanaya's words do little to drag her from the abyss she had fallen into. It elicits a response, a couple of words harshly spoken, barely more then a growl.]
Hurt... Him...
...LEAVE!
[Suddenly, Irritation from the the continual interference from the young troll peaking, she steps towards the jadeblood. Thinking her a minor nuisance, she would remove her from the equation. Two talon-tipped hands dart towards her side, aiming to violently shove her out of the way.]
[Action]
[The attack was fast, but not unexpected. The Disciple may have superiority in terms of size and weight, but Kanaya has her own advantages at the ready. She turns in an instant, grabbing the disciple's wrist and pulling it into the path of the other one, blocking the blow. The feral troll is only held by one limb, and unfortunately still has plenty of options to escape the rainbow drinks grasp. That is, if she even feels the need to escape! Kanaya doesn't weigh that much and she probably would't do much more than slow her friend down should she try to move through and attack the seadweller. Kanaya realizes just how precarious the situation is, and pleads to both of the trolls.]
Please!
[Action]
He dives forward and reaches, quick and dirty, trying to grab onto one of Disciple's thick horns, his body moving to shove Kanaya away. He's got size and weight on both of the women, and he is certain he can restrain Disciple if it comes to it. What he'll do after that, he has no idea.]
[Action]
[She needed an opening, and one came in the form of the young troll. The seadweller's attempt to remove the jadeblood from the fray caused a momentary slackening in her hold on her arm. This might be her only chance.]
[She immediately dropped herself to the ground, trying to gain a better avenue of attack. The violetblood's hold on her horn jerked her head fiercely as she dropped, she felt a sharp stabbing pain surge through her neck. She accepted the pain for now, fueling the fire of rage that she would unleash on her prey.]
[From her new stance she had the leverage to deliver a savage kick to the side of the knee of the jadeblood. The blow is aimed to buckle her over, to expose the veins in her neck. Wicked claws outstretched, the greenblood cleaves an arc through the air, the slash aimed at the exposed neck of the jadeblood interloper.]
[Kill the lesser prey, then be free to deal with the greater prey.]
[Action]
[She tried to yell a warning to Dualscar, tried to hold on as best she could to Disciple, but all that came was a gurgling popping noise of jade blood working through the ravaged mess of her chitinous windhole, and the strength of her grip faltering.]
[Kanaya's hand slips free of the wrist as she falls to the ground.]
[Action]
[Dualscar snarls as jade blood fountains. No, how could she have done that. She's practically one of them.
There's no sanity in this creature he has in his hands, he sees now. And he's beyond warnings. He hooks a foot around Disciple's legs, hanging onto the horn tightly as he tries to bear her to the ground under his weight.]
[Action]
[Before she can attempt to recover, the feral greenblood finds herself pinned to the ground under the weight of her would-be prey. Her attempts to lash out at the seadweller prove fruitless, the greenblood's claws are unable to find flesh.]
[A wave of primal terror washes over her savage mind. She was helpless; trapped under the violetblood. Her flailing claws tear gashes in the ground as she attempts to forcefully remove herself from his grasp; to no avail.]
[Out of options, she resorts to a infuriated hiss, her arms and legs still working to free herself.]
[Action]
No... don't... hurt her.
[Kanaya is standing, holding a hand to her throat so she can speak. She takes a few steps, kneeling next to disciple.]
I can... stop...
[She doesn't say anything more before grabbing disciple's arm and bringing it to her mouth. Olive blood flows, dripping around her wound; she's clearly drinking it.]
[Action]
But then Kanaya latches on and begins to drink, and he lets out a long, low hiss]
Rainboww drinker...
[Action]
[She felt the quick twin sting of fangs piercing skin, then a bizarre euphoria settled over her mind in a haze. The panicked flailing of the greenblood stopped immediately as she fell under the sway of the strange power of the rainbow drinker.]
[Her consciousness waning, the hold of the beast inside her wavered, and broke. With her anger stifled by the euphoric haze, it began to retreat back to the darkest corner of her mind.]
[Action]
[Then again she never had her condition exposed in such a violent and dramatic manner before. Given a choice this is not how she would want someone to find out about it.]
[Kanaya stops feeding, releasing the becalmed Disciple. She looks up at Dualscar, uncertain and somewhat afraid.]
Yes.
[Action]
Your ancestor wwasn't a rainboww drinker, I'm sure a that. [But now isn't the time. He slowly gets up, keeping a tight hold on Disciple and dragging her up with him, arms cinched around her chest and pinning her arms. He's not really sure what to do now. He wants to just leave Disciple with Kanaya, but what if the girl drains her? Someone might blame Dualscar for the death.] She's not a good meal for you. Signless wwould miss her if she died.
[Action]
[She was slowly beginning to realize she could her voices around her. They seemed distant and wavering; as if trying to listen through water. She could not make out what was being said at first, but her curiosity drove her towards consciousness.]
