[Video/action] Wherein she visits the library
[She had heard rumors of this place, she was pretty sure that someone had even told her about it earlier, back when she was less acclimated to this undersea world. She had been walking, still growing used to being around a large group of people, when her nose had caught scent, of all things, paper; large quantities too. Having spoken to the librarian and finding out exactly the place was, she decides to call Signless in a bout of giddiness. Still not that adept with the comm, she manages to send it broadcast instead.]
[Disciples excited face appears in the video, clearly something very good has happened by the smile on her face. Finally finding words, she speaks.]
SIGNLESS! THIS PLACE HAS BOOKS! FOR FREE!
[She is immediately hushed by someone off-screen. Looking in direction of the voice she apologizes, but continues at a slightly quieter tone.]
They said I could borrow some to read, and then can return for more later! Isn't that amazing!?

[Action]
[Dualscar snarls as jade blood fountains. No, how could she have done that. She's practically one of them.
There's no sanity in this creature he has in his hands, he sees now. And he's beyond warnings. He hooks a foot around Disciple's legs, hanging onto the horn tightly as he tries to bear her to the ground under his weight.]
[Action]
[Before she can attempt to recover, the feral greenblood finds herself pinned to the ground under the weight of her would-be prey. Her attempts to lash out at the seadweller prove fruitless, the greenblood's claws are unable to find flesh.]
[A wave of primal terror washes over her savage mind. She was helpless; trapped under the violetblood. Her flailing claws tear gashes in the ground as she attempts to forcefully remove herself from his grasp; to no avail.]
[Out of options, she resorts to a infuriated hiss, her arms and legs still working to free herself.]
[Action]
No... don't... hurt her.
[Kanaya is standing, holding a hand to her throat so she can speak. She takes a few steps, kneeling next to disciple.]
I can... stop...
[She doesn't say anything more before grabbing disciple's arm and bringing it to her mouth. Olive blood flows, dripping around her wound; she's clearly drinking it.]
[Action]
But then Kanaya latches on and begins to drink, and he lets out a long, low hiss]
Rainboww drinker...
[Action]
[She felt the quick twin sting of fangs piercing skin, then a bizarre euphoria settled over her mind in a haze. The panicked flailing of the greenblood stopped immediately as she fell under the sway of the strange power of the rainbow drinker.]
[Her consciousness waning, the hold of the beast inside her wavered, and broke. With her anger stifled by the euphoric haze, it began to retreat back to the darkest corner of her mind.]
[Action]
[Then again she never had her condition exposed in such a violent and dramatic manner before. Given a choice this is not how she would want someone to find out about it.]
[Kanaya stops feeding, releasing the becalmed Disciple. She looks up at Dualscar, uncertain and somewhat afraid.]
Yes.
[Action]
Your ancestor wwasn't a rainboww drinker, I'm sure a that. [But now isn't the time. He slowly gets up, keeping a tight hold on Disciple and dragging her up with him, arms cinched around her chest and pinning her arms. He's not really sure what to do now. He wants to just leave Disciple with Kanaya, but what if the girl drains her? Someone might blame Dualscar for the death.] She's not a good meal for you. Signless wwould miss her if she died.
[Action]
[She was slowly beginning to realize she could her voices around her. They seemed distant and wavering; as if trying to listen through water. She could not make out what was being said at first, but her curiosity drove her towards consciousness.]
[Action]
She looks at Disciple, noting that the effect of the bite must be wearing off by now. "Please, she's going to wake soon. I promise she won't be a threat, but she will be scared." Kanaya wished she could back that up with something, but the truth is she's never had to stop Disciple's primal side before. She has no idea if this will work. All she knows is that dualscar's arms is the last place the olive blood is going to want to be when she wakes up, feral or not.
"I promised to help her... She asked me to save her from herself..."
[Action]
He's pretty damn indignant about the whole thing, too. But at least now he can leave with grace, and not feel as though he's retreating in the face of a direct challenge. He inclines his head and turns to go in a swirl of cape.
[Action]
Disciple finds herself leaning on someone, Kanaya by the scent her nose picks up. She also caught the departing scent of a seadweller. Dualscar. Why was she here again? Something had happened... she remembered the library. She met Dualscar there, things got... heated... yes.
With dawning horror the rest of the memories of the previous encounter begin to clarify. She raises a trembling hand into her still-woozy field of vision. Her breath catches in her throat as her suspicion is confirmed.
Jade blood tips the ends of her claws.
She had seen in happen in her mind, while she played passenger to primal instinct. She had been hoping it was all some sort of horrid daymare, but that was not the case. She had almost brutally killed one of her closest friends. All because she could not control her petty anger. Disciple had let her anger build until she lost control, she could not be trusted.
She removes herself from the troll supporting her, dropping down to arms and knees. Olive tears begin to cascade down to the ground below her as Disciple's mind tries to handle what she had done; what she was capable of. Through her sorrow-filled tears, she chokes out a sentence. It was barely audible, intended for herself; a confirmation.
"I am a monster."
