I agree. Darkness is a reliable secret-keeper. It presents the most ample opportunity for crime. And considering how little we truly know about anyone else here--the city's natives, the other foreigners--anyone could be a murderer; even you or I.

[Rue isn't afraid of the dark, but she'd be lying if she said she wasn't glad that the SFCs still work. It's pretty nice, to be able to keep in touch with it.
