[ Sophie is seated today, by the fountain in the plaza, but she doesn't seem very perky as usual. If anything there's a bit of a frown on her normally inexpressive face. She tucks her head against her knees with a sigh. Tiger Festival is with her, naturally, walking along the edge of the fountain and trying to bat at the water with his paw. ]

It hurts.

My head hurts.

[ She's had a lot of complicated questions to ask lately, and some of them have been pinging her memory. Or what of if she's trying to recollect. Abruptly she is startled out of her thoughts by the sound of a -plunk- and a loud mewing, and she turns to scoop the cat out of the water. ]

You can't do that Tiger Festival. You don't have gills, so you'll drown if you try to go under the water.

[ The bedraggled kitten just huddles close and meows like the world is /ending/ ohgod he got WEEEEEEEEEET. ]

*Ghirahim doesn't check this silly device often. But he has a bit of a soft spot for the not-human he met. She isn't a demon, he doesn't think, but nor is she a goddess. That's really the only thing that keeps him from dismissing her entirely. Or murdering her.*

[ She recalled that sometimes Sophie's head hurt when something was familiar ... that was so long ago for her, though. ]

If you'd like, I could see if healing you makes it feel better. Do you want me to try?

... I don't know. [ Well actually.. she didn't start understanding what they were until she met Asbel. So... ]

I don't guess so. But I haven't been doing anything to my head. Sometimes when I talk to people, it hurts.

[There is something else slinking along under the fountain waters today. He thinks he is the most ninja of all, this one. Unfortunately for Chibi, the fountain is not so deep that his ears and tail don't stick up above the surface, even as he scuffles along on his belly in an attempt to get as low as possible.

Really, he's so easy to see it's almost painful, but he's still trying to sneak up on Sophie nonetheless.]

When you speak to humans? How interesting. Although they can be rather irritating at times. I'm especially prone to headaches when it involves someone in particular...

... maybe. [ She's a bit glum about that idea - she can't shake the idea that she doesn't -want- to remember. But she brightens at the offer. ]

[ ... ? Something is...sneaking up on her? But she wasn't sensing a malicious presence, so she didn't shift into battle mode - rather she cast a sharp glance over her shoulder, blinking in surprise. ]

[ P... puppy what are you doing? Gj;la that is so cute. With Tiger Festival still grumpy over being wet, she moved the kitten to her shoulder, leaning over to watch the failninjapup's progress. Or perhaps to reach over and give an ear a light poke. SHE SEES YOU, silly pup. ]

*he growls at the memory, his grip on the device tightening.* I worked so hard to revive my master...but that petulant brat...! I even had the courtesy to let him run off with his life twice. Instead of learning his lesson, he just kept coming back over and over again!

Just as she reaches her hand out to poke him, he breaks the surface with a harrowing cry!]

[ The heck does petulant mean? Sophie ponders - well, you're supposed to break apart big words to get their definition right? Petulant... Pet... ul ...ant? Petal Ant? ... ]

So... he kept stopping you from waking up your friend? But he died a lot too? [ Cuz coming back - he died right? ]

But why does that make your head hurt?

[ GHiw;gaa SO CUTE. But it... probably doesn't have the expected reaction. She doesn't jerk or scream in surprise or anything. She does however, rest her hands on her knees curiously, with a bit of a smile. ]

What are you doing? [ SILLY PUPPY. ]

[He! That. What??

At least pretend to be surprised!!

Completely foiled in his plot to scare her, Chibi sinks back down into the fountain and huffs, blowing some air bubbles through his nose.

He's totally not pouting or anything.]

[ S.. she didn't know that's what she was supposed to do! D: ]

Puppy?

[ She reaches down to pat him on the head. ]

You don't have gills either.

[He slowly blinks, then carefully examines himself.

...It's true! He does indeed not have gills! But then, most wolves don't, not even sun god wolves. Pardon him while he hops out of the water and onto the side of the fountain, then.]

[ Tiger Festival meows loudly down at Chibiterasu, as if offended by the wet puppy is taking so much of Sophie's attention. The purple haired girl glances at the kitten, and then down to the puppy. ]

Now you're all wet. Do you want me to get you a towel?

[ She offers Sophie a smile before turning off the SFC feed. Within the next several moments, Sophie is running over toward the fountain in the plaza, looking for her lovely daughter type. ]
