[ Sophie is seated today, by the fountain in the plaza, but she doesn't seem very perky as usual. If anything there's a bit of a frown on her normally inexpressive face. She tucks her head against her knees with a sigh. Tiger Festival is with her, naturally, walking along the edge of the fountain and trying to bat at the water with his paw. ]

It hurts.

My head hurts.

[ She's had a lot of complicated questions to ask lately, and some of them have been pinging her memory. Or what of if she's trying to recollect. Abruptly she is startled out of her thoughts by the sound of a -plunk- and a loud mewing, and she turns to scoop the cat out of the water. ]

You can't do that Tiger Festival. You don't have gills, so you'll drown if you try to go under the water.

[ The bedraggled kitten just huddles close and meows like the world is /ending/ ohgod he got WEEEEEEEEEET. ]

... I don't know. [ Well actually.. she didn't start understanding what they were until she met Asbel. So... ]

I don't guess so. But I haven't been doing anything to my head. Sometimes when I talk to people, it hurts.

When you speak to humans? How interesting. Although they can be rather irritating at times. I'm especially prone to headaches when it involves someone in particular...

You have headaches too? [ She puzzles this. ]

Ah, no one of any real concern. His name is Link. He tends to meddle in my very careful plans--rather rude, actually.

Link? [ Hrm. Nope, doesn't ring a bell. ]

*he growls at the memory, his grip on the device tightening.* I worked so hard to revive my master...but that petulant brat...! I even had the courtesy to let him run off with his life twice. Instead of learning his lesson, he just kept coming back over and over again!

[ The heck does petulant mean? Sophie ponders - well, you're supposed to break apart big words to get their definition right? Petulant... Pet... ul ...ant? Petal Ant? ... ]

So... he kept stopping you from waking up your friend? But he died a lot too? [ Cuz coming back - he died right? ]

But why does that make your head hurt?

He didn't die. I wish I had killed him from the beginning...

It makes my head hurt because I worked far too hard and waited far too long for him to just come along and ruin it!

[ She thinks about this for a few minutes. ]

I don't think I would be happy if someone stopped me from helping a friend either.

[ Or tried to stop her because Sophie is a tiny terror when it comes to her dear friends. ]

Clearly I need to rearrange them. But he's a pretty smirky guy!

*he chuckles* ...What was your name again? It seems it slipped my mind. *more like he didn't care enough to commit it to memory the first time they met. But this creature is so very entertaining. And malleable.*

Sophie needs to learn the definition of "Stranger Danger" :D

[ She seems pleased she was able to grasp the concept - it was a little frustrating when confronted with some things that are or aren't the sort of thing that one talks about, and metaphors and all of that rot. Seriously why does the language have to be so complicated? ]

My name is Sophie. [ She doesn't mind repeating her name. Since she currently lacks the ability to actually -feel- most emotions, kinda, she can't get exasperated with people forgetting things like that. ]

A Lord? Does that mean you own a house and protect a town, like Asbel does back home? [ WHOO that's a lot of work. Sophie can't wrap her head around the stuff he does. But she shakes her head. ]

It's okay. You were busy hitting your head, I don't mind if you didn't introduce yourself first.

*she just might be tugging at the red diamond he has in place of a heart. How sweet.*

I rule over the tribes of creatures known as Bokoblins. They really are in need of it...otherwise they just fight each other, and they wouldn't be able to get anything done.

Then since you're here, does that mean the Bokoblins are fighting back in your world?

[ Bad Ghirahim. No cookies. Sophie is silent for a few minutes, and eventually decides there's really not much one can do about that. So she changes the subjet. ]

Are you not frustrated anymore today? You were banging your head a long time.

It's not exactly sunshine and rainbows, but I can't get much done destroying a wall, now can I.

You could if you had to get something behind the wall. [ She's ...just so helpful. ]
