It’s on! [The voice that greets the feed seems very pleased.]

Now if you want to put it to video, then you do this. [There was a click.

And the network was greeted with Selim’s smiling face. There was a woman behind him. It appears they were both sitting out on the plaza. The boy’s hair was still wet, but it appears like he’s been drying off for a bit.]

They can see us right now, ma’am? [He turned his attention back to the woman. From her uniform one could pick up she probably worked at one of the shops near by.

Selim’s face shown amazement.] Wow. This is awesome!

Hey! Edward Elric! Can you see me? [One could swear there were sparkles coming off the kid.] I saw your name on here. I’m glad we can meet again. [And there was a thoughtful pause as he looked at the woman again.]
Can he respond?

[And he accidentally ends the call]

[Rood, Kimblee. That would be Sir It to you.

He hadn't sent a response just yet. Kimblee was dead. He had the hat resting beside him as proof of the events that transpired.]

[After reviewing the response once more, he finally composed himself.

Beaming a bright smile for Kimblee as if nothing was wrong.]

Hello! You're Mister Kimblee, right? I remember meeting you when you came to visit my Father before.

Yes, that's right. Please forgive me--I wasn't really expecting to find you here in the city. Are you all right? I understand it may be a bit unsettling to find yourself underwater, but I have no doubt in my mind that your father would take pride in knowing his son was being so brave.

*Ghirahim makes an annoyed growl, his fangs on display as he glares into the device. Human children...*

He gave a worried look.] I'm very sorry, Mister. I was excited seeing my hero was in this city.

*Only one pointy ear. Oddly enough.*

How very touching. *he's nowhere near Selim, so he wouldn't be able to sense what he is. If he did, he might be a bit friendlier.* Well then, go to your precious "hero" then and leave the rest of us in peace.

[Oh, it looks like there's a new kid here now. Still older than us, but not by much from the looks of it. Can't really hurt to say hello and all. Or rather, what looks like a handpuppet that's held up really close to the screen that waves at Selim.]

"Hello there! Welcome to Vatheon!"

[He blinked for a moment before switching back to smiles.]

Hello and thank you. Did you make those puppets yourself?

[He pulls the puppet away from the feed so that Selim can get a better look at the young boy holding it as he shakes his head.]

No, but I bet it would be fun to make more if I knew how! [He giggles slightly before the handpuppet waves at Selim again.] "So, what's your name?"

[Hesitantly:] Uh, yeah, I can see you. [More than that, he's... kind of staring. "Again"? This is going to be another of those screwed-up timeline things, isn't it?] Doesn't tell me who you are.

[He waved.] This is so cool! Have you ever encountered something like this on your travels? [Points to himself.] I'm your biggest fan! My father told me all about you.

[Hey, Pride. It's your favourite person.

About 8 ish years younger though.] Anyone can respond. Have you just arrived?

[Wow. Looking very young there.

He'll stare at the feed for a moment before bouncing in to a bright smile.]
Wow. This is amazing! I haven't seen anything like it. And yeah! I'm new. I'm thankful to all the kindness I've been shown.

Neither had I until I arrived; Amestris doesn't have anything like it. It's quite useful, though, so I do hope that one day we have something like it. [A small laugh and kind smile.]

That's good. Has anyone explained the situation here to you yet, child?
