[The SFC clicks on as it skitters across the floor. The vampire that owns it dropped it as he collapsed. He's completely exhausted from fighting with the monster on the island and is all too thankful that the bubble decided to return him on its own. He can feel the power of before, surprised that is it still inside of him. Perhaps it was the new power that was really able to keep him going..matched with sheer determination not to fail. But now that the strength of a god is gone, the wounds received from the creature and the sheer effort that went into the battle are too much for him.]

I pushed too much..

[That voice is the first sign that he still has some life in him but it is weak and barely more then a whisper.]

I hope we..were able to stop it..before too many were hurt..

[He tries to use his hands to push himself up off of the floor but it's too much effort. He'll just sleep it off right here..]

[He hears the voice and turns his head slowly to look to where the device is laying.] Kimblee-san..[He gives a small nod as that eye closes.]

I don't think I could move even if I wanted to..[There is a small smile that spreads across his lips.]

[Screw it. Otoha heads out to the plaza - he recognizes the coral behind him - and crouches down next to Fai.]

You did fine. Come on, I'll take you back to my place so you can rest.

[Fai opens his eye and turns his head to look up at him.] Otoha-san..? Where did I end up?

In the plaza.

[He carefully picks Fai up into a bridal carry, trying not to jostle him too much.]

Let me know if you need me to slow down or anything.

[He starts walking back towards the bar, taking it slowly so that Fai doesn't bounce too much.]

Thank you.. [Fai relaxes against him and closes his eye again.]

Did everyone make it back alright?

Intact, yeah. With varying degrees of injuries.

..almost? [Fai frowns and opens his eye to look up at Otoha.] There were some casualties?

[Tatsumi looks worriedly at Fai.]

Fai-san... I mean, Yuui-san, are you alright? Do you need help?

[Fai hears the voice and tries to lift his head to look around. He spots the device a few feet away and lays his head back down. He doesn't remember the last time he's felt this exhausted.]

Tatsumi-san..I've been on the island..I'm just tired..

[And beaten up. Being nearly flattened by the bouncy ball of death, buried under a collapsed trees..all of it is very bad for a vampire's body.]

[That doesn't help to ease his worries the slightest bit. On the island meant he was fighting Yami, making wonder about his physical state.]

You were on the battle... Are you hurt?

I was one of the 'blessed' ones..[That's probably the first time Fai's life has ever been seen as anything so positive.]

Most of my injuries are probably healed..or starting to.. [The fact that he doesn't have the strength to check is probably a good indicator that he isn't in good shape.]

I see, Tsuzuki-san and I tried fighting it ourselves, but our powers were not enough to do it much harm. I believe that's why some of you received those powers.

[He looks at Fai.] You don't look too good.

Even with the power..he was difficult to deal with.

[There is a soft sound..which could almost be considered a weak laugh.]

If I am to be honest..I don't feel very good either. [And everyone knows that honestly is not his best quality.]

[Your twin hasn't left his room much at all with everything that was going on. The tone in Fai's voice is enough to tell you that he's just woken up, but he'd had enough time to check the SFC and become extremely worried about his big brother.]

Yuui? Where are you?

[Fai cringes as he hears that voice. For his brother to see him in such a state..not good.]

Fai..It's alright. [He tries to push himself up but it takes a lot more effort then the vampire should really be using at the moment.]

I just got back from the island..[To put it simply, he isn't quite sure where he is quite yet.]

[Well you saw him newly alive again, this just makes you two even. It's his turn to worry.]

It's not all right! You're hurt!

[Fai is immensely torn right now. He wants to go and find his twin, but he fears he may just get lost and cause more trouble for everyone. Having to ask someone for help or directions is still a terrifying thought.]

[Fai knows that even if his brother gets to him, there won't be much the boy can do. What Fai needs..he refuses to take from Fai. He will do his best to summon every ounce of strength he can. The wounds on his body are already starting to heal but he knows that without feeding, they will only heal to a point.]

I had to help the people on the island..

[He frowns, more upset than angry with Yuui. There's no way he could have kept his brother from going to fight, he knew that, but he didn't want to lose the other so soon after their reunion.]

That doesn't mean you should put yourself in that much danger or let yourself get so beat up! You'll make everyone worry... You'll make me worry.

[Fai's eyes are beginning to water and he's trying his hardest not to cry.]

Is someone coming to help you?

[The guilt of his actions washes over him. He let his brother down..all the promises he had made to not just throw his life away, and there he was..in sad shape. How many times had he been nearly killed by that creature on the island? He had tried to protect everyone..and forgot that he needed to protect himself in order to keep from disappointing the most important of people.]

I'm sorry..[He manages to prop himself up with his arms, but he can't bring himself to look at the device.]

Don't worry..someone is on their way. I might not be back tonight though, so please stay inside. Tell Johnny to call me if he returns home.


[ooc:going on the assumption that little Fai has met Johnny since..well..they all live together. LOL We'll just handwave an actual meeting.]

[ Kenshin had thus far stayed away from the island. A fight between gods wasn't something he wanted to get involved with. But to help an ally was another story. ]

[Fai opens that one eye slowly as he hears that voice. He turns his head towards to the device.]

I'm..not sure. [With another turn of the head he could see the center of town.] By the fountain it seems.

[He starts to try and push him self up, the weakness of his body making his arm shake as he puts his weight on it.]

[Fai is all too happy to oblige as he sets himself back down on the ground and lays there to wait. He just doesn't have the energy to even try to move any more. Eventually he passes out as that exhaustion becomes too much for him.]

While he's not a medic, Kenshin can take Fai home to rest :D ]
