[Video/action] Disciple: Have the second worst day ever.

[Disciple had enough of isolation. After losing control of herself she sought to hide, lest she hurt others. Her anxiety did not wane with time, she would need to stop hiding. The time had come for her to return to the Hive. She could not keep running from what had happened.]

[She arrived at the hive, finding it empty. Not usual, Signless was always busy. It seemed like Psii must be with him as well, he was also gone from the hive, the two of them were almost always together. So then she would just have to call them, hopefully they were somewhere she could talk to them in private.]

[Disciple fished out her SFC and attempted to call Signless. Oddly, his name was missing from the registry. The same thing happened when she tried to call Psii; no entry. A seed of worry planted itself in her brain and she did her best to ignore it. It must be part of some curse or something. She would just send a message to everyone, light knows she did it enough on accident.]

Hello, everyone. [There is a hint of worry in her voice.] Sorry if I am being a nuisance with this message. I think my SFC might be damaged. It is unable to contact a couple of people. Signless and Psii aren't at our hive, and they I can't reach them on the network. I do not suppose anyone is currently in contact with them, or know where they are?

[She continues to look around the hive, trying to not let her mind drift down dark avenues of thought.]

I can't find Mindfang either, I went to her hive looking for Psii...

[ Feferi looks away from the camera for a second before looking back with a little frown. ]

I can't contact them either. I think that means they went home.

Good.

Vriska...

[...She didn't know. His heart twists. She didn't realize yet.]

[Darkleer almost backs away; it isn't his place to tell her of this. There are others better suited for the job. Even when he decides to answer, he almost goes with the safe and detached option of text.]

[But no. She deserves better than that.]

...In a few days, if they do not return, it may be best to assume that they are... back where and when they originally came from. [Death and in the helmsblock of Her Imperious Condescension's ship, respectively. He knows that is no comfort.] I am sorry. Mindfang is gone as well.

[Three of their own, gone in such rapid succession.]

If I may ask, where are you?

[He's frowning a little.]

They ain't here?

[Panic flares as he speaks. His words, her mind had been screaming them at her already, but she fought against them with every fiber of her being. ]

So then we have to find them, before those days pass. [Desperation flavors her voice.] Maybe their SFCs broke. Maybe they are just dead.[This place is weird.] That means they will be back in 5 days, right? Maybe I should wait for them here... or maybe I should go to the plaza and wait for them there.

[ No No No! Kanaya has heard what that means. This is not good at all. Disciple was bad enough off as it was, and this is the first that the rainbow drinker had heard from her after that incident. She already had more than enough to work out with Di... but that's all going to have to take a back seat for now, if not get dropped entirely. ]

[Kanaya is only a few minutes from their hive. Maybe she'll still be there. The glowing troll starts running, half reminded of the last time she ran to aid the Disciple...]

[A few minutes after the broadcast, a visitor will be knocking at the door to the holy bros hive.]

They can't have gone home. They must be somewhere.

[Then said, more to herself]

...anywhere.

Disciple. Where are you? I will help.

[By making sure that she doesn't go on another panicked spree.]

[Responses had already come filtering in, her voice was starting to sound a little desperate.]

Not at the hive, here. They have to be somewhere.

I am at the hive. I think I will wait for them here. Or at the Plaza. I will wait here for a bit. Maybe they will show up. You can help me look for them.

[Who's this douchebag? He talks clearly, but calmly. As far as he's concerned, he's talking to a widow. Nobody can say Spider lacks tact. Well, ok, plenty can say it, even cite a large archive of evidence against him, but they'd still be wrong.]

Disciple. The Signless and the Psiionic both disapeared from the registry the morning of the 21st. Your deadline is the morning of the 26th. That's the longest I've heard of someone being taken off the rolls and still coming back. Karkat may be more specific though, he's seen this far more often than I have.

Alright. I will be there soon. Just stay calm, alright?

[A few moments pass, followed by the muffled sound of movement. A couple more seconds pass, then the door is opened. Kanaya is met by slightly manic-looking Disciple.]

Oh! Kanaya, you can help me look! I have checked most of the hive, but I cannot find Nubby or Psii. I do not think they are here. Maybe they are at the plaza. Think we should look there?

Thank you! I might be better to look with two. We can cover more ground. Who knows where those two could have gotten themselves to...

[She barely registers the fact that she doesn't know who cut onto the line with Darkleer. Her mind is so scattered she just doesn't even really register who she is talking to.]

26th. Good. So they can still be found. Karkat, Yes, he could help us look. He is good at finding things, maybe he knows where they are.

...Right.

[He feels just slightly horrible. But he knows he has to go and keep her from making any more mistakes. So he sets off, checking the online registry to see where she lives. In just a few minutes, he's at her door, knocking on it.]

You can't... you can't find them either?

[The voice on the SFC is small and hoarse; Sola's been crying on and off for some days out of relief that he's still alive and it leaves his throat scratchy.

He'd noticed as well that his Trolldads hadn't been answering at all. He'd left them little messages, just to tell them where he was, nothing about what had been going on. He had been trying to get up the courage to do so and finally achieved that today... only to find their names gone from the list.]

Maybe... maybe they really did go home...

[Gamzee has... a pretty good idea where this might be going, but nope. Going to defy the fuckin odds with stupid ass optimism and a healthy dose of wilful ignorance.]

You wanna like... go and fuckin' search the motherfuckers out?

[Silence initially greets the knocking. Shortly after, sounds can be heard from deeper inside the hive. The sound of something heavy hitting the floor echos through, followed shortly by the sound of footsteps growing steadily louder. Then the door is swung open, and Darkleer is greeted by a slightly disheveled-looking Disciple.]

Darkleer, good. You can help me look.

[She disappears back into the hive, leaving the door standing wide open. Shortly inside is the disciple, rooting through the living room of the hive. A couch lies on its back, appearing to have been flipped there recently. Doors to cupboards lie open around where they can been seen. Various other pieces of furniture seem out of sorts as well.]

[...Nevermind. He is perhaps just slightly too late.]

[Bewildered, he follows her inside and surveys the chaos. This isn't looking, or at least any calm and thoughtful sort. When she had said it, he had thought a search of the city but this is almost more worrying. Quickly, he goes up to her, trying to gently grab her by the wrists.]

Disciple! Disciple, stop, if they were in the hive they would have let you know! Calm down.

[oh. This is worse than she expected. Kanaya is a bit afraid for her friend... she's not thinking rationally.]

Disciple... they aren't on the registry. Even if that's just a fluke of the system, it would be more efficent to rely on the power of the people out there to look for him, using the network to ask them to help. If they are here, there's too much for you to search on your own, and they'll come back here eventually.

Don't even.

Maybe you would know more if you weren't hiding out somewhere with your tail between your legs. [a little mad? maybe. she knows what happened between her and kanaya and she's still a little bitter over it.]

She really wasn't that bad. I think you two would have gotten along if you'd had someone to mediate!
