[Luke just rolls his eyes at that.] Sorry, but I think I'll pass. I don't think I want to be as sexy as you think you are. [Not to mention that Luke doesn't think he's even capable, nor is he proud of how he looks anymore.]

[After a moment, Zelos springs a filter on the conversation.]

Actually there's something besides that I wanted to mention. Do you have a brother or something? 'cause a few days ago this guy who looked like you but needed a serious attitude adjustment showed up. I didn't tell him you were here, just in case, but I thought you might wanna know. I just, uh... It's been busy at the club so I haven't had the chance to tell you before now.

[Well, it was busy that day and it slipped his mind. It's only been four days. That's prompt, right?]

I...

[Ah. So Zelos met up with him, too. And just because Luke told Lloyd who Asch really was doesn't mean he's suddenly comfortable with telling everyone about it.

His voice noticeably quiets as he looks down at his feet, trying to think of what to say.]

It's... a little more complicated than that. But his name is Asch.

[Complicated how? He wants to ask, but Luke's been pretty tight-lipped about certain things and Zelos has been fairly good about giving him his privacy, especially now that Guy is back. It's the blonde's job to watch out for the junior redhead, after all.]

Hmm, well, if he gives you any trouble don't keep quiet. He needs to get off his high horse.

[But even so, Luke can't help feeling a little protective. Sure, Asch yelled at him and insulted him. Sure, Asch is a jerk and constantly gives Luke trouble.

But he's still his original. And, in a way, Asch saved his life.]

It's okay, though. He's just like that sometimes. [Including the "giving him trouble" part. Hell, that should probably be an "always" instead of "sometimes".]

[The expression on Zelos' face at that is definitely nonplussed. There's quite obviously more going on here than meets the eye. If Luke is agreeing at Asch is a jerk yet still sticking up for him? Well.]

Whatever understanding you're trying to have about it, you shouldn't let him get away with being rude to you for no reason.

No reason? ... He's got plenty, actually.

[Luke's just not about to say them.]

[You can't just leave it like that, dude. Zelos raises an eyebrow and looks at Luke expectantly.]

I don't have the right to talk about it.

[No really. He feels like he doesn't have the right to talk about Asch and his situation at all. After all, he's the one who caused it.]

Pfft, since when do people have to have a right to talk about anything?
