[Truth be told, Zelda is a little worried about the pile that's occurred on her couch. Zelos, Dhaos, and Duke all simply refuse to move. She's tried urging them gently to at least move up to their respective beds, but to no avail. Time to try another tactic! When the video comes on, it reveals all three men with their hair braided together. She'd threatened to turn on the SFC and that's exactly what she's done. She holds up one of the braids, a white and red mixture created by braiding Duke and Zelos's hair together. It rather resembles a candy cane.]

I seem to have three incredibly unmotivated friends on my couch, here. Is anyone else experiencing something like this?

[She waves the braid.]

Not that it's all terrible. Look how cute they are!

Yes. It certainly seemed to be an issue for those whose regular diets consists of more sentient things.

[He doesn't count himself amongst those numbers, however. He was just fed on by a vampire, it's not big deal. Trolls tend to lose a lot more blood when they're fighting each other.]

I wish there were methods we could use to keep track of individuals such as those, but I suppose only the scientists possess such knowledge.

And those that would volunteer that information are the sort to not usually hurt others. I wouldn't want them to be ostracized, but it would be a good idea to make sure they feed regularly... I know that it can be an uncomfortable condition to deal with.

We would need trustworthy individuals to befriend them and make sure that things stayed quiet. Unneeded attention would just make things more complicated and troublesome.

[She pauses, then filters the video. Darkleer seems as if he looks after the troll children, and now that Signless is gone he's the closest thing there is to a troll parent around.]

Miss Kanaya was not affected, was she?

[...Wait why is he being asked? Darkleer feels a momentary bit of awkwardness, but it doesn't show on his face.]

[He's a broodmother or something! Father. Whatever. this is completely logical to Zelda. If Darkleer has the patience to father Gamzee, he is clearly a saint who can look after all the other kids too.]

[Although when he thinks about it... Now the only remaining Alternian adults besides himself would be Disciple, Dualscar, Summoner... and that horrible clown. Disciple was still particularly fragile. Dualscar was... Dualscar. Summoner was a bright spot, certainly, but he can see how he isn't one to make one think of 'responsibility' and such on first impressions.]

Nevermind, I can see this logic. I have heard nothing in regards to Kanaya. I believe she is fine, last I checked.

[Of course Darkleer sees her logic. He is an excellent baby daddy, this is why she wished to have his children!]

I'm glad to hear it. As for the other topic... there are at least three vampires I know of here in Vatheon including her. Thankfully, they don't seem to be particularly inclined to forcefully feed from people.

[Yui had seemed to want to keep his condition quiet, after all. It would be wise to know if anyone else knew of it.]

It was the elder Fai that I ran into last night who was having difficulties controlling his hunger. He didn't seem to be aware of how much blood he was actually withdrawing. I had to stop him before it got to be too much.

[And for a troll, that is saying something.]

I see... he must be terribly upset now. I couldn't even get him to feed during the battle with Yami, and he was quite injured. It is quite unfortunate that such kind people have had conditions forced on them that force them to do such things to survive. Though for the rest of our sakes, I suppose it is better that way.

[She doesn't even want to imagine what it would be like if someone who didn't give a damn about everyone else required the lifeblood of others to survive.]

I plan on speaking to him in a few days time to check on his condition.

I'm glad to hear it. I do not know him well, but he does seem like the sort to not care for himself properly.

[Being afflicted with such people frequently, Zelda's developing quite some skill in spotting them.]

He is the older brother of someone I would be disappointed to know would be sad if something happened to him. It seems like the thing to do.

[Done torturing her housemates, Zelda finally goes to get a blanket and put it over Duke. Dhaos has his cloak, and Zelos doesn't really get chilly.]

That just makes it all the more better for some work, in my opinion. Less interruptions.

[It's hardly her place to call him a workaholic, but she shoots him a very slightly accusatory look.]

I will let you get to it, then. If I notice anything else odd I'll be reporting it to the Defense Force. I suggest you do the same - we all need to pool our information.

[He just meets the look with a stoic one of his own. He's gone two hundred sweeps working and he certainly isn't going to stop his habits anytime soon.]
