[A young black hair man with pearl eyes appeared on the screen. Puzzled and yet annoyed. This guys is doing his best to keep his cool. Thank goodness for nice locals here. Got his hair dried and a new shirt It felt weird without a bandana, you know that? Oh well, the damage is cleaned up. If anyone is around, they'll find him carrying a torn black shirt and white sweater with an orange bandana on top of it. Now back to this weird starfish device.]

Anyone care to explain what is going on? And how I got here?

[And please don't say 'swallowed by a cockroach.]

[Glowing is all the rage. And speaking of rage, Gohan has just enough to keep up a continuous volley of energy blasts. He should be a piece of cake to sense, and really, that's all he cares about.

Wait, why hasn't Trunks already done this?]

[Probably because he has common sense, for now. Okay obviously he's trying to kill him. Why not turn it into a game? Hopefully he's as powerful as he looks. 17 may have just arrived, but he doesn't plan on loosing right there.

He is going to avoid those blasts by zig zagging and phasing. Whenever Gohan decides to stop, 17 will be there floating and smirking.]

[He rather expects this after so much time spent fighting 17. He's faster, more agile, doesn't tire, etc and so forth. But there is the coral, and it's with a look of pure gold-and-green hatred that Gohan faces the android.]

You're not going to harm anyone here, android. I'll see to that.

[If he's slowing down or not, that wasn't his concern right now. He already knew about the coral and what it can do, mostly. And what's with people making assumptions again? 17 stroke his dark hair aside as his gold earring chimed. He let out a whistle.]

Woah! Not bad. [Ain't the truth. He didn't had any data on this guy after a good look at him.]

I suppose you've come here to do something about it. [And with one arm. Nice observation 17. While he's stuck here, might as well get a little fun out of this guy. Now he lifts his arms up to a fighting stance. Heads up Gohan, here he comes with a couple of punch combos.]

[...something is wrong, and Gohan realizes as much from the first hit. He's good enough for a few blocks, usually-- usually, it takes them a while to get in a good hit.

But he's gotten faster, and Gohan's having the damndest time trying to keep up. Every time he moves to block, it's too slow.]

[Trunks also is cursing himself for being slow--he had kept his senses open once he knew 17 was in the bubble, and had gone to look for Gohan.

But it hadn't been long after the message that he felt Gohan's energy skyrocket, and he'd started out on the island--it would still take time for him to get down to the city.

Once he was there, though, he flew as fast as he could to the plaza. Despite all his instincts screaming for him to join the fight, get Gohan's back, but he knows--this 17 is definitely, damningly too strong for Gohan to handle on his own. Maybe too strong for the both of them, though Trunks is slightly more confident about his own chances.

Fighting like this wouldn't do them any good, though--and it would possibly cause problems with the rest of Vatheon. There were definitely more innocent bystanders than they were used to keeping in mind in the middle of a fight. Bursting with golden energy, Trunks instead put himself in the middle of the fight to stop it before it got too much more out of hand.]

Gohan! Gohan, stop!

[Before 17 could throw another fist to Gohan, his fist came to a halt when Trunks intervene. Good job Trunks. The cyborg drifted back with confusion written on his face. Although it was a good idea to stop Gohan on progressing further into the fight, the cyborg couldn't help but glanced at Trunks, annoyed more like it. It was starting to get interesting, so he thought.]

Hey! Do you mind?

[This is so entirely contrary to everything Gohan knows.]

What do you think you're doing?

[His tone is angry, hostile, a deep thread of betrayal running underneath. He can't help himself; the orb of ki is forming in his hand, blue-white-hot, and his eyes never leave the android.]

Why would you protect him?

[Or, well-- not PROTECT him, but not finish him off yourself.]

[The look Trunks throws over his shoulder at 17 is as hate-filled as anything Gohan gave, the only difference was him not attacking. He'd be right there with Gohan not long ago.]

I'm not protecting him. There's too many people here.

[Really, would the plaza survive an all-out battle between the three of them? He's being a voice of reason here.]

[Trunks, why so angry? He won't understand your deal for a while. And he'll give Trunks credit for that speech. Have a couple claps.]

[Gohan's on a hair-trigger reflex, and the sound of the clapping sets him on edge. Trunks is acting strange, the android is amused, and life is just horrible all around.

He's still shocked by Trunks but unwilling to stop watching 17. It's a mess, he's angry, and there's still a large orb of ki in his hand.]

Someone explain to me what's going on.

[You shut up, 17, or Trunks will do it for you. He's not happy. And he knows Gohan isn't either. Oh he knows.]

We're in the middle of the plaza. Two Super Saiyans and that, fighting all out? We'd destroy half the city.

[At best. This concerns him. But there's definitely something of note: his back's to 17. This obviously means he's pretty sure he's stronger--Trunks would never have turned his back on the android before, he knew better. 17 might have the upper hand in a prolonged fight, just because he can't get tired--if it comes down to it, Trunks has no intention of dragging out any fight.

He just looks at Gohan, trying to will him to understand a few things--the guy steps one toe out of line, Trunks is more than willing to take care of it himself. But this 17 is also stronger, far stronger than you, as much as Trunks doesn't want to admit it. Gohan's his hero, but he'd stand no chance. The situation is different: we need to go elsewhere so I can tell you just how much without him listening in, because I want to punch his face in just as much as you, really. There's just a better time and place.]

[Oh man, it was like watching a bad soap opera. Granted, even 17 has no idea what was going on. Back home, he remembered Trunks rushed right into the fight like the rest of the flock. At the same time, talking too much was getting boring, and yes Trunks your back is getting boring to look at.]

I like to know myself, but I'm getting bored listening to the conversation. If you two are done talking, I like to continue this game. But hey, I don't blame you for leaving. It would probably be a smart idea. It'll just mean I won this round.

[Cocky, probably.]

[Hey, Trunks?

You don't mind if Gohan ignores you, right?

No?

Yes?

Don't care. Okay.]

[You think he'd be used to this. But he is, in fact, used to property damage and after so many years... well, he can't entirely control himself. He fires the ki blast straight over Trunks shoulder.]

[Trunks blurs out of the way, ready to deflect the blast again if 17 sends it towards a place that wouldn't do to have a ki blast hitting it, ready to interfere if the android goes after Gohan--no, he's not going to take a hit for 17, even if he doesn't want this fight to be happening. And he's not going to let 17 go after Gohan either.]

Really, this again?!

[17 wouldn't mind compromising with the idea of property damage since he'll be here for a while. But who threw the first punch? That's right, Gohan. 17 throws his palm out crushing the incoming blast from Gohan. Now that blast showers behind 17 like a meteor shower, sorry Trunks.]

I was hoping you were as strong as Piccolo. What a let down.

[Now he's flying right towards Gohan. Knee, meet stomach.]

[...even if Gohan could block it, that statement stops him in his tracks.]

What--

[and, naturally, he doubles over and gags at that blow.]

[Trunks is not going to stand for that. There's little he can do about the energy blast now, which frustrates him, but he can do his best to end this fight now.

In an instant, he's behind 17, eyes narrowed in fury as he swings his clasped fists into the android's back with all the force he can bring to bear.

And that's a lot of force.

No warning--and there'll be no words following his attack either, mocking or otherwise. He just drifts next to Gohan, ready to intervene again.]

[Sadly, he didn't see Trunks coming this way nor that brute strength that knocked him to the ground. Knock meaning 17 felt like a volleyball and Trunks hit a nasty serve.

There goes 17's body.

All the way down.

Ouch.

Yeah... He's going to lay here and wonder what the fuck just happened.]

[Gohan is in that club, too.

And anything that can do that to an ANDROID, of all things... Gohan can't help it; even on his knees, he scoots a step back.

He's in awe. Whatever else Trunks had said... training with Vegeta... how? How was this possible from the past?]

Wh-what did you just do?

[Damn it feels good to be on the right end of a pile driver like that for once. There's a shot of vicious glee he's feeling, but he hides it well. He's not afraid anymore. Not of him. It's a miraculous feeling. He descends, landing beside 17 with his arms crossed--but he's not attacking again, not yet.]

Your unlimited energy isn't going to do you much good if I can end the fight before you tire me out, 17. I'm stronger than you now. You missed a lot after Cell got a hold of you.

[He's standing back up again. Damn, that was worst than' Cell's punch. What the hell people? Yeah, he'll just wipe that dirt off his chin. Granted, he has met stronger people before coming here, like 16.]

Just because you got a lucky hit. [Nope, don't believe it.] If you want to fight Trunks, then wait your turn. The other guy was eager enough to come here first. [Yep Gohan, he's talking about you, just don't know your name yet.]

[...the other guy is content to act like anybody else should and let the strongest do the fighting. It's a courtesy he always extended to his father and it's one he is now damn willing to give Trunks.]

I've had enough lucky hits to know one when I see it.

That wasn't the case here.

[Trunks has an absolutely vicious smirk when he really lets it loose. Like right now.]

Considering I went up against Cell after both you and 18 got absorbed, and didn't lose in two minutes? Doubt that.

I'm not going to let you kick my friends around here. Understand?

[It already sucked knowing Cell got him, but 18 as well? So much hate right now.]

But you still lost, didn't you. [17 stated the fact like a spit in the face. There was a slight smirk.] Sounds like you know what's going on more than me.
