[In the plaza, near the Coral, there can be seen a rarely spotted Szayel Aporro Granz and, with him, there's a child around 13 years old. The boy is wearing a large, oversized black shirt that looks almost like a dress with the sleeves rolled up hastily, though they keep falling down. Szayel looks more bored than anything else and waits nearby with his arms crossed and quiet chatter can be heard between them. The brown-haired child keeps both of his small hands on the Coral for the time being.]

It doesn't appear to be working.

I'd like to inquire as to why you have a machine with that capability in the first place.

[There was a slight scoff before Szayel gave a shrug and a small smirk. The young Jade looked back at him when he spoke.]

[Szayel snorted, adjusting his glasses. Funny, he had much the same reaction after he got over the initial why did you touch things in my lab?! response.]

[Sorry, Jade. No sympathy for you.]

[He just heaves a surprisingly large sigh for a small kid.]

[Zelos just happens to be hanging out in front of the club. He's been wary this week, especially considering the fight Guy had yesterday he had to break up, but this definitely lightens his mood.]

...I think you might have trouble reaching the bartop like that.

[Trying not to laugh. Really. He's trying. Just... not very hard.]

Considering until this wears off I will abstain from attending anything regarding the Host Club, I'm hardly worried.

[He raises a brow, speaking lightly and pushing his sleeve up again. He needs to find proper clothing.]

[Szayel paused at the redhead. Oh, he fully expected Jade to receive ample amounts of mocking in his current state... but it's what Jade said next that brought out a fresh sneer.]

Host Club...? My, my, I didn't realize you were that kind of person, Jade...

[Wow this Szayel guy kind of makes him uneasy. Granted Jade does too but with Peony on staff he hasn't really done much but snark. Szayel looks like he's dissecting you with his eyes to try and see what makes you tick.]

If the Coral can't heal it, I doubt it can be healed with any normal healing magic. Unfortunately, it's not a wound, just something that might need to wear off. in the meantime, I'll simply have to deal.

Well Zelda's got magic that's different than normal healing, at least from what I've seen, but suit yourself! No skin off my nose if you wanna go through puberty all over again~

I likely will not have to. If anything, I'll run a few tests on myself and see if my fonic signature has been scrambled to my present form, and with the device I had Guy make, I can check my blood fonon levels. If it's that, I can likely find a solution for myself.

[With an easy wave to both men of science, Zelos retreats back towards the club, making a mental note never to hang out with Szayel. If he could turn people back into kids, what other horrors could he inflict? The curses are bad enough!]

[Watching the scene from afar, his reiatsu carefully hidden, Aizen is both irritated and surprised. Surprised to see the octava Espada seemingly alive and irritated that Szayel didn't contact him upon his arrival. He would have to do something about that, to show Szayel where his place was.

But this could wait. For now.]

Szayel. It did seem to me that I felt you presence around before this day.

[Szayel almost dismissed his communicator ringing, too busy with mocking Jade. When it kept ringing, however, he brought it out in annoyance...]

[Only to see that name printed on the screen.]

[His face instantly paled, muttering an excuse me to Jade before taking a few steps away to answer. His entire form went rigid when he heard Aizen's cold voice. His mouth went dry, and he swallowed before he could force himself to talk.]

Aizen-sama, my humblest apologies. I have been otherwise preoccupied and did not notice your presence.

[Peony just happens to catch the broadcast, but... The rate at which everything clicks is almost slowed down because of the sheer level of what. He gawks, works his jaw, and just isn't exactly sure what to do.]

[Jade looking almost 25 years younger than he is, but... Alright, not sticking around in the apartment; Peony hefts himself up off the bed, jogging once he's out of the building. This is just... what.]

[Jade hears that transmission and is immediately full of do not want. However, his legs are a bit too short to get a lot of distance in the short time it'll take for Peony to get there, so he just hides behind Szayel's great big hakama pants.

[...Woah, okay. Apparently Jade was afraid of this person? Hard to imagine that idiot being afraid of...]

[...What Peony does is just kind of stop. Bafflement on his features, mixed with such... a high degree of amusement that he's just not sure how to handle it. It's just that first... He can hear you, Jade, even if you're hiding and even if he only gets there at the tail end of all that.]

[He looks to the pink haired man after that. Szayel stepping aside at least gives him more reason to try and not burst out laughing, brows knit together and lips pressed in a tight but sharply arced line. Oh. Oh this is something he hasn't seen in years.]

So, about all that old age catching up--I guess that's a thing of the past, now.
