[ Action | Locked to Vesperia housemates ]

[ There is silence in the Vesperia household, for once, as the housemates are doing whatever the hell they're doing right now. Reading? Looking over research notes? Doing something? Yeah, it's quiet.

And then there is suddenly a large gust of wind that develops inside the house. Yeah. Inside. Suddenly everything's blowing around like crazy -- hair, skirts, notes, paper, just. Anything and everything that can fly in the wind is behind tossed around.

Suddenly, there is a WHAM as the front door is thrown open by the wind. And then, sauntering in and grinning like a boss, is one Yuri Lowell, who has returned from being canon-updated beating down Duke and killing the Adephagos rape monster with a giant energy feather. Yaaaaay!

... or not if you were actually doing something and the wind messed it up. In any case, Yuri's grinning as he addresses the household.]

Hello, everyone. Did you miss me?

[ Video ]

[ Sometime after the initial chaos of Yuri happily testing his new Brush God powers on the unsuspecting members of his household, he's settled in well enough that he's more or less relaxed at the moment. After a few minutes, he turns on his SFC, playing with the features for a bit before settling on video. ]

So, before I begin, can I just say that whatever rumors of my disappearance started in this place are grossly exaggerated?

[ So casual, Yuri. A shrug before he continues. ]

Yeah, actually I went back home for a bit. Settled a lot of things. Pissed off a few more people. Stopped a world-ending calamity from destroying Terca Lumireis. You know, the usual.

... didn't think I'd end up back in this place, though.

[ With that, he sighs, looking at the SFC before grinning at this. ]

So. Anyone mind telling me what I missed?

There's a noticeable pause here before Yuri responds. ]

.... [ Are you expecting that some curse will recreate the events at Tarqaron, Yuri?

Because if you are, you're not the first to think he'll return to doing bad things, by his own will or not. Duke's not sure how he feels about this. ]

Seems to be a different effect each day.

Seemed Monday, Dhaos ate a great deal. Tuesday lacked any interest in moving. Rest of the week has been uneventful for me.

[ He may be taking this pause to scroll through the sfc. ]

Apparently, as well as those who ate a great deal, there were those who were quite happy to give instead. And those who where nice.

Seems to be wednesday involved those who want, the day after those who wanted what others had, then those who found anger far easier to reach...

[ .... Now he feels like Yuri is going to judge him on all these curses. ]

[ THANKFULLY. He catches her so the only thing that really happens is that he ends up stepping back a bit to steady himself. ]

I was so worried! I thought maybe you might have gotten yourself into jail here, but I went and checked and you weren't there. So then I checked the residency list, and saw you weren't on there, and I was --

[ Oh, she's rambling. She stops herself, though she looks kind of sad for a moment. After Ioder being attacked, she didn't exactly enjoy the realization that something had happened to Yuri, too ... ]

I-I'm just ... I'm just glad you're back.

[ brb, hugging him tightly. ]
