[When the SFC turns on, things are a little different. It's a different face than usual, a tired, annoyed face, and the caller ID simply reads 'Carol'.

She adjusts her glasses, stares into the screen, and breathes out an aggravated sigh.]

Hey...what do you call yourselves? Vatheonites or something?

I've got a question for you all, since you're already trying your best to ruin everything we're working on. Have any of you seen that priestess around? ...Thalassino, right?

I want to talk to her, so...let me know.

[Another huff and she rolls her eyes, muttering something before she turns off the device--]

A coupla credits isn't worth all of this hassle.

If I was better at magic, I'd try to do somethin' to put your mind at ease for that, but can't do anything, sad to say. Anyway. Like I said, what can you do, even if it's not much? Information, a helpful gadget sent our way, a good word with the giant squid that tried to eat us?

[Lea takes in a deep breath and closes his eyes, remembering. He'd talked to her during that final message over the network, and the date had been...]

During the 21st of June last year, the High Priestess Thalassino contacted the foreigners of Vatheon to tell them that a curfew was to be in order. The reason for that curfew was quickly discovered because some of us are too nosy for our own darn good, and ran into strange moving shadows that appeared during night time. They'd chase after us, and do... something, but the person caught would wake up the next morning somewhere in the city, soaking wet.

Those same shadows did something to the church, I heard.

[Lea opens his eyes again and tilts his head to the side.]
