Project 001 - [Accidental Video]

[Hope no one's easily motion sick, because if they're looking at their SFC today, they're going to be treated to one jumble of a video. Starting with the very irate grouching (or grouchy jingling) of one soggy Tinker Talent fairy, jumping around on one foot while holding the other.]

-ow! That hurt! What the-

[Fascinating starfish shaped thingabob found. Time to check this out!! Tink picks it up, peers at it, turning it over in her hands, holding it over her head, and poking at it, trying to figure out what it is and how it works. There's the ground, and then her face, and a clear shot of the plaza... as seen from about three inches off the ground.]

So fascinating! I wonder what this does...

[More poking and prodding. Forget that not one minute ago she was fuming over kicking the thing by accident, and not two minutes ago she was freaking out because she had no idea where she was. Tink has discovered a Lost Thing. Or a something. And she is very intent on figuring it out.]

[Naminé kind of knew who that was, but it was still odd to see an actual fairy on the SFC. And she also didn't have a clue what she was saying, but that wasn't the point. She stares for a few more minutes before attempting to say something, which will most likely be something very obvious.]

[Okay, that last part she actually heard...kind of. She lets out a small laugh and gives her a smile.]

You don't have to shake it, that's a communicator that helps you talk to other people.

[Well now. This is interesting. Seeing those wings reminds Darkleer of his matesprit, and even though he can only hear the sound of small bells- is it from her wings? Some sort of magic, or perhaps an organ inside of her?- he decides to try his hand at communication anyway.]

[Not on video, however. He knows most, even those 'normal' sized, find him rather intimidating with his size, horns, and teeth.]

[More poking and turning over in her hands.]

[Ok, last he checked, this little miss never talked. All she did was huff and jingle and throw dust all over the place.

Axel peers into the SFC before he taps at the screen to try and get her attention.]

Yo. You're broadcasting.

It's another person! What, does this thing eat them?

Don't worry! I'll find a way to get you out! Just let me... try...

[Gosh why is this thing so hard to pry apart? Is it some sort of animal? Is Fawn around anywhere?

Her tools would be so useful right now too.]

If I can just find something to leverage this part here...

[Axel blinks at her while she fidgets with her communicator.]

Whoa, take it easy-- [What was her name again? Actually, come to think of it, Axel never really did get her name at all back in Neverland. He shakes his head.]

[Sola is completely overjoyed at seeing a fairy on his SFC. He hadn't seen one since the others all went poof and to see one again is almost like a little slice of home, even if she's less glowy than the variety he's used to.]

You're a fairy!

[He's so excited his voice might come through just a little too loud.]

What kind of fairy is that? Do you guide heroes or heal people? Oh! Or maybe you give special powers?!

[Denzel happens to be glancing on and off at the network while he's tinkering in his lab. His glasses slide slightly off his nose for a moment, like he can't believe what he sees. Considering, it's been months. His mouth hangs open in an 'OMG' expression. Before -] IT IS!

FAIRY!

[Pointing at the screen with a boney finger and then laughing maniacal and eye twitching, boy it's good to see something like you again like fairy. His face plasters to the screen.]

Where are you? Where are you?

[Blank stare. That is one very unusual greeting.]

I'm uh... [Peering around. Pacing a little. Up on the tiptoes for a better look.] I don't know. I've never seen this place before. Is this on the Mainland?

Mainland? [Mumbles] Let's see what is that behind you...

Uh. [Well this is unexpected. Beck knows a fairy when she sees one, especially Tinker Bell. Maybe she shouldn't come out and say that though...]

It's kind of like a cell phone. Uhm, like a...recording device. Everyone can see you right now.

[A pause.]

A cell... phone? Recording device? What are those? Can I see one?

[Tinker mind going a million flits per second, desperate to see all these new things she's hearing about.]

Uhm, well.

[Wow, you never know how hard the simplest things are to explain to someone until you actually have to do it.]

A cell phone is something that lets people talk to each other pretty much no matter where they are. And you can send written messages too. The starfish is a lot like that, actually. It can show video of who you're talking to too, which is...what it's doing right now.

[He's just going to be watching. Demons aren't a common thing here, but some things just kind of remind him of all the opponents they faced at home.]

[At least it'll be entertaining to watch. Soggy wings are uselessly hanging behind Tink, and yet she's still attempting to strain and get airborne, intent on taking her new bauble with. But no luck. So it's sit on the ground in a huff, then start pulling and prying at the device instead. Complete with poking at random things.]

I wonder how this works...

[All these people and explanations! It's challenging for Tink to keep up with everyone, but she's doing her best.]

So humans use these to talk to each other? [Puzzled headscratch.] Seems funny to me. Why not just talk without the machine? Or is it that they can't?
