[Video] Puzzle I
[Zexion is standing in front of the coral, and for once forgoing the black coat, dressed simply in a white half-sleeved button up shirt and blue jeans. His attention for a moment isn't on the communicator which he just turned on, but rather focused on the black mark gracing his left arm, just a bit below his elbow.
A few seconds into the feed though and he turns his attention to the communicator.]
Is there anyone else here whom has been keeping tabs and researching the curses, coral and markings we're graced with? I'd like to speak with you if you have.
[Private]
Demyx, when you have the time, I'd like to speak with you as well.

[A beat.]
What'd you two talk about?

[He turns his attention back to the coral beside him at that question, studying it quietly for a few seconds before responding to it.]
How we're affected by the curses mostly. She said they didn't use magic... that it had something to do with the coral and the markings we bear. Thus why they only affect us and not the natives whom lack these markings... The coral reacts with our markings...
[He trails off at that point, silently thinking. He has to wonder if those whom hold them here are capable of manipulating the coral as they see fit or if their manipulation of it was an experimental thing in its own right. He also was curious just how one manipulated it to do something if that was indeed the case.]

[The markings... Huh. That's a new one.]
Sometimes I've seen other people like us though who don't get hit with a curse. Did she say anything about that? I mean, uh... Lea wasn't... taken during Halloween like I was. He's the one who snapped me outta everything.

[A beat and he's now again focused on the communicator.]
It's also possible I wager that whatever happens between the coral and the markings could be affected by those whom bear the markings. Which might explain why some curses cause some to react differently than others during the curse. Body chemistry, mental patterns, or other such personal biological interference could produce such differences.

[Hooboy. All of that sciencey talk there just earns a stare.]
...So you mean cuz of that stuff, some people wouldn't be hit by it?

[A short nod.]
Basically, yes. There is a possibility that it could very well miss them entirely or that it would react differently with them than it did with another affected by the exact same curse. There's been curses with such different reactions hasn't there? Where someone might have been affected worse than others, if at all or if everyone was affected, they were each affected differently?

[ A beat and the sound of a pen tapping. ]
I have my theories.

[ A pause. ]
Is there anywhere you have in mind? of course, you could always come to the clinic if you aren't so averse to the idea.
voice; -> [action?]
[Since he's already in the plaza, it doesn't take him too long to make his way down toward the clinic and knock once against the door of it to alert the man to his presence.]
action all the way~
I'm glad this was of no inconvenience to you. Though I admit, I am curious as to what others have to say about this subject.
[ Leading Zexion to his office now. ]
May I interest you in tea? Coffee?
action;
Tea, please.
[A small pause.]
How long have you been here, if I may ask?
[He's mostly curious, plus having someone who's been around a while and has observed more could be useful to him.]
action;
Feel free to take a seat by my desk while you wait.
[ Though he pauses at the question, glancing back at the other man. ]
A year... then the city allowed me my leave and brought me back after what appears to be merely two months.
