I'm surprised I haven't seen more relief to be back in our own bodies. Maybe we're still reeling a bit.

Anyway, I don't mean to bring everyone down, but does anyone have more information about the recent murders? I think we all got pretty caught up in last week's confusion, but the danger's still there. Especially considering it's the time for new arrivals, right? It's harder to find safety in numbers if you don't know anyone yet.

I examined one of the bodies of those who were deceased when discovered. I got the impression the perpetrator knew what they were doing in regards to how they went about killing the individual. Perhaps they had previous practice on their homeworld and have just now resumed the practice here.

[The only reason it drew his attention is because he knows that, while other worlds are certainly exciting, few seem to celebrate violence like Alternia does.]

Do you think it's more likely to be someone who arrived recently then? Considering how many cases there've been so close together, I'm not sure that says much for their patience, if they did it back home, too.

Whoever it is is still striking, although there's a chance he's focused more on hurting them than killing them now.

Not that that's any better. At all. We're still trying to catch him.

Though I guess if it was intentional, they could be getting overconfident. Either way, I hope there's something we can use to find them.

In the other cases they were murdered almost immediately after, and then dissected.

This wasn't like that -- Lloyd was drugged and then tortured. He was left in a similar manner, so it was clearly intentional. He didn't escape, he was left.

It's not much so far. We're looking for someone who knows what they're doing. Either they've done this sort of thing before, or.. I guess they could know from their profession.

Human nature is debased and corrupt regardless of where you are. Anyone who expects otherwise is naive and foolish.

You asked me how often it happens here, and I'm telling you this is the only case I've heard about in the past month.
