It would seem that the Head Nurse--assuming she's truly in charge of these curses, has an... interesting sense of humor. Just the other week I had a particularly nasty rumor spread about myself and now it seems that it's come true in a very literal sense. The rumor in particular was that I wore cat ears around my home. _{[Kimblee fiddles around with the SFC for a moment before he finally turns it to himself. At first, nothing seems out of the ordinary until a pair of ears perk up. But that's not all! He twists a bit and reaches back to bring a matching tail into view. Overall, he doesn't really mind it this time. They're much easier to conceal should he wish, but for the time being he's fine with just letting the ears do their thing.]}

Bravo, Miss Head Nurse, bravo. The irony of the situation certainly isn't lost on me.

_{[Just wait until this military dog finds out he can purr.]}

Selim wasn't ready for this place to deal out punishments just because of instincts kicking in. That would be a rather degrading way to die.

Hey! It was different. Kimblee was dying! And Selim is a homunculus.

Selim will glide from his perch to land on Kimblee's shoulder. Making a low parrot whistle as he turned around and cocked his head to the side. That is some nice hair there. He wasn't sure why he hadn't given it thought. Helping himself up the hair and then settling against an ear.

And now the Crimson Rosella-tized Selim was distracted by his ear. He'll nibble on one of those cat ears.]

<sub>[Both ears twitch in a mixture of irritation and curiosity as Selim climbed up onto his head, and then they go flat against his skull at the initial nibble. He... Really wasn't sure what to think about that.

It wasn't that bothersome, really! It was just foreign. Everything about this was foreign, and Kimblee was on the fence about it. He's only been here for a few months, yet there was still something that surprised him or confused him. Curses, trolls, worlds where alchemy had been abandoned or changed into something else... Not to mention he was living like an ordinary human being with a homunculus--the very homunculus that devoured him alive prior to this.

Death had little consequence here.

If anything, he was even more expendable now than he was before, yet Pride continued to keep him around. His job was fulfilled, wasn't it? So why--?]</sub>

[Kimblee still had his uses, but that would be a conversation for when he wasn't trying to groom Crimson's ears.

Rubbing his little face against the fuzzy ears before preening it with his little beak.]

Can't make any promises. I'm still getting used to this form, you know. [His tone was pretty cheery. Did Kimblee ever thought about getting his ears pierced? The bitty crimson parrot could help :D]
