[There's a chocobo on the screen, once he managed to accidentally get his SFC working. Nudging it a few times, he takes a step back, bouncing in the air and flapping his wings.]

Kweh! Kweh!

[Bored with that, he manages to hang onto the SFC with his mouth. The view is hard to follow, but it looks like he's ramming himself into a door to try and leave the apartment. Tidus' door to be more precise.]

[He's going to keep doing that for a while.]

[Oh look, it's another chocobo, this one blue, peering into the screen and looking excited.]

[This chocobo jumps back, surprised. Was that a real chocobo, or someone cursed?]

Kweh! Kweh kweh wark!

[Oh, how exciting, a new chocobo he hasn't met yet! The blue bird starts dancing around happily, his feathers ruffling, ready to play.]

Darkleer?

[Equius' voice floats in from offscreen.]

Darkleer, what... no! Give that back, you bad bird!

[His voice is deeply affectionate when talking to his pet.]

[Tidus leans forward, curiously peering at the fellow chocobo.

Wait-- Darkleer?

So Darkleer had turned into a chocobo too! Tidus starts warking and kwehing in hopes that he'll be understood.]

[Nah, this is Darkleer the chocobo, not Darkleer the ancestor. Equius named his pet before his ancestor ever showed up, and by then, it was too late to change the bird's name.]

[For once, the blue chocobo cooperates and surrenders the SFC gracefully, although he then rests his head on Equius' shoulder and watches the screen with beady, interested eyes.]

Uh... hi. Are you a regular chocobo or someone who got turned into one?

[Equius looks exactly the same, except the luxurious, curling mustache he's sporting.]
