[Do you guys like screaming? Luffy's got some kind of market on that. He punctuates turning on his comm accidentally by screaming into it while flying through the forest, bouncing off of trees and rolling around in the underbrush. Unluckily enough, it's tied to his shirt like a badge and not going anywhere anytime soon, because Luffy loves it. The pristine woods are crying. Can you hear the sounds of their weeping as Luffy barrels through, leaving a ridiculous swath of destruction?]

[There's a dull smashing noise as Luffy bounces into a cliff hard enough to dislodge a large portion of it, sending it teetering back down into the woods. Spinning mid-air, Luffy keeps screaming out names until he lands on his face, the feed cutting off.]

Then he bounced off a tree and towards Feferi like some sort of octopus-legged monster.]

[ Oh my god, what is that stretchy freaky thing barreling towards her?! AND CAN SHE STAB IT?

Well, she's going to try! ]

[That would have been a total stab if not for his fortunate, crazy-ass weird monster training.

At best, Luffy bent past Feferi's dainty and adorable stab before full-blown stupid impact.]

[ Stab avoided, impact not, and holy motherglub they're going tumbling when they crash together. How was this even happening?! Things she tried to impale on her culling fork usually ended up on it quite thoroughly. ]

Agh-- glub glub glub! What are you?!

[Down went a number of trees as a result--their uprooting being a surprisingly simple result of a meteoric sort of landing between the two of them.]

Ah? [Luffy sprung up, landing on a tree trunk and squatting with a very pleased expression.] I'm a pirate!

Are you a fish lady?

[ Feferi is a mess, long hair tangled up with sticks and assorted debris, and she's clearly not happy about it. At least, if just for Luffy's sake, her weapon ended up wedged between two massive branches in the crash. ]

How is 'a pirate' even an answer!? You're something crazy!

[ Glub glub huff! ]

Ah? [Weird, she wasn't satisfied with that answer? Luffy sat right down where he was, crossing his legs and his arms. Though the stabby fish-lady was clearly disgruntled, he didn't figure he was going to get hurt for real anytime soon--so, he dismissed the need to be on edge.]

Well, I told you I was a pirate when you asked me what I was... Aside from that, my name's Luffy!

Also, I'm a rubber man. [Luffy reached to his cheek, pinching his skin and pulling it two feet away before letting it spring back into place.]

That's not even a thing! Is it?

[ She huffs again.

And then promptly charges towards him, unarmed and not quite as angry. This is mostly because she wants to grab him by the arm and try to stretch him herself out of sheer curiosity, and is going to do her damndest to try. ]

Since when did you humans have rubber men? That's so dumb.

[Streeeetch there goes his skin. Luffy doesn't mind it all that much, especially since he did just sort of smash Feferi through a forest. Also, no killing intent or danger-senses being triggered so wuuuut]

Well, there's only me! I ate the Rubber Rubber fruit and now I'm a Rubber man! Nobody else ate the fruit and I don't think anyone else can be the same thing as me!

[ Streeeeeetch it keeps on going as she steps away, just casually pulling his skin like it's, well, rubber, really. Once she gets a yard or so away, she abruptly lets go with a laugh. ]
