A few citizens may recognize him to be Shulk. Shulk is peering over Tech’s shoulder curiously. But Tech is far too tired and frustrated to find the circumstances entertaining, at the moment. Well, mostly. He pulls their hands closer to the camera.]

Is anyone else having this problem?

Indeed. All it took for us was a light brush. I haven't learned yet whether all contact will result in this though, or if it's more selective. The curses tend to have sporadic behaviors.

Wonderful. Then I might just have to take extra precautions if that's the case. The last thing I need is to be attached to someone for extended periods of time.

You're telling me. In the meantime, I'll be trying to work on a method of separation. But, given the nature of these curses, the chances of that succeeding seem minimal.

Hm, I wonder if a carefully controlled force field would negate the effects of the curse.

So far I've only attempted to separate us with manual, physical instruments, but short of cutting through something that doesn't seem possible. Whatever is holding our hands together is very small and precise--it might even be the case that the skin has been fused somehow. Unfortunately I don't think that a force field would be any more effective than, say, a knife. Maybe if we had something that could operate on a molecular level...

Molecular level may work, but I don't have anything that works on that level. Well not here anyway.

I could probably scavenge enough parts in my lab to create something serviceable, but it's going to be a little difficult to build anything under the [He shakes his shared hand] circumstances.

At most. Individual effects often vary in length, but the threat of any curse lasts for precisely one week.
