[So everyone likes a little bit of unintentional blackmail, right?
How about a nice shot of Vanitas napping against someone's side where he actually looks completely normal and/or harmless? It sure seemed like a fantastic idea to Kimblee.]
When he's like this he seems human, doesn't he? He's been like this for a good fifteen minutes and I just don't have the heart to disturb him. [Kimblee brings his hand down to start playing with Vanitas' hair for a few seconds, something he had been doing before he started the broadcast, then he starts to move him.
Or at least he tries.
...Vanitas isn't budging, and whenever he tries to move him, he goes with. Then Kimblee attempts to move--Vanitas still doesn't budge.
Thiiiiiiiiis can't be good. LAMUFAO WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO HIM.]
All right then, apparently I'm not going anywhere for awhile.

So what were you feeling when you made these? And why were you reacting the way you were when I was petting the creature? Actually, nix that first question; what do you feel when you make them? All of them.
[Man, he does not envy that at all.]
action
[Why were they sharing about feelings. Kimblee you were impossible /huff]
You can tell from their expression. [Vanitas isn't touching it to show.] I don't need to feel things presently either. If all the feelings and negativity just keeps coming back, then think of it as a bottle. I can pull it out whenever I need something.
[A pause.] I used to be able to cover multiple worlds at once with hoards of them.
[This is why he shouldn't have friends. Imagine what teen drama would do to something like that.]
action
[Then he snorts lightly.]
I think I can honestly say I'll be worried if you ever start dating and your significant other breaks up with you if you have that much negativity inside of you.
action
None of that is going to be said though. Let's just latch on to that dating topic.]
Good thing it won't happen then. [And then a pause.] Though wrecking havoc on the city would be fun.
action
I'll believe the former due to your outstanding track record with the young ladies here in the city. As for the latter, I agree though I don't know what the head nurse would do if you caused too much damage.
Re: action
Which pretty much meant angry. It was only two of them and it wasn't like he cared. He also is too busy marking guys as prey.]
I'll probably find out what the head nurse will do eventually. [Just wait to see if an incarnation of his master arrives.]
I should just find someone like you if I ever decide to be stupid enough to try it out. [That would mean letting someone else, which wasn't appealing. He was picky about who he stuck with.]
action
It was just a matter of staying useful.]
...Though I don't think it would be too difficult.
action
No. That would be terrible and weird in a way.
Just going to raise a brow at that.] Did he ever tell you the differences?
[He'll nudge Kimblee lightly. And don't let it go to the head, but he wasn't exactly expendable. Vanitas would end him if he got in the way, but he would...feel something over it.]
Might be a little difficult. [He looked to Kimblee's hand, to critter and then away.] Don't think I'll let just anyone do that.
[Stop going to dumb territory.]
action
[But Vanitassssss.]
I don't. [A smirk as he starts to rub it behind the ears again.] Though I fail to see why petting this caused such a strange reaction.
action
[...he will bite you.]
When I said I wouldn't mind you stroking my ego...[Brow ticked up.] Didn't mean for you to literally stroke my feelings.
[Resting the side of his head against his arm as he looked at the offending critter.] Remember the animal curse and the purring?
action
[Vanitas he will bite back.
With alchemy.]
It certainly brings a new meaning to toying with emotions, doesn't it? [You know what sounds like a good idea? Playing with its feet.]
How could I not? You nearly threw my back out when you pounced on me.
Re: action
You seem to take a certain pride with your work. Definitely sounds like you are the more capable one.
[Kinky.]
Enjoying yourself? [Eyes were narrowing as he looked to his companion. Seriously?
It's a pity he can't try to throw his back out now] I still remember your face when you started purring.
action
I like to think so. Otherwise I don't see why my employers would have released me from prison to begin with.
[He may be pushing the big four-oh in about two years but he's not old yet!]
I should be asking you that, considering the nature of your little pets. [And then Kimblee makes a small face.] You were purring too if I recall correctly.
action
So who held your leash?
[Isn't that when men typically go through mid-life crisis and start picking up a wife more than half their age or get stuff to compensate?]
There are better ways of making me happy. [Or to torture him.] I wasn't fighting it though. [Another beat before he shot a look to the Unversed.] It's kind of like that. [Just more]
action
[If only he lived that long.]
What would make you happy aside from this? [He's starting to feel like one of the antagonists from those movies. No Mr. Bond.]
action
Then maybe he should start having that now. Too bad there weren't any sports vehicles but they probably carried teeth bleach. He can blind people with a smile.]
You could blow something up. [Or they could go kill someone. Not sure how that would go while attached though.
Oh hey! There were critters returning through the portal with a game console box and games.]
action
What about boats? Or a jetski?]
I could, but I'd rather keep the apartment debris-free. [The poor locals.
Once the other critters return, Kimblee leans forward to place the one he was coddling onto the floor and nudges it with his foot.]
Go on, your companions are back.
action
Going through portals is still an option. [They are happy to be helpful.
And Vanitas might have to make signs for his critters with "Do Not Molest" written.
Critter will look at it's master and there was probably some mental communication because as soon as Vanitas looked at it, it scuttled on back to the others. He'll let them set it up before terminating them from their jobs.
Already relaying how the cords should connect to the television and the power. Good thing they didn't jam in their little finger in the electrical socket.
What they pull out of the box was fish shaped. Also pulled out Marlin Party V. Pretty much a game board game to collect the most starfish after a set number of turns. You get a starfish for the most tokens you get as well as minigames won. Mini games consist of inflating a fish shaped balloon, shooting each other with water guns, stamping to cover a paper, boat racing, token collecting, etc...]
action
Hmm... Could you open one to the kitchen while they set this... [He gives the machine a once over, arching an eyebrow at its appearance.] ...While they set the fish-machine up, by any chance?
[So he was getting hungry, nbd. He's going to tilt his head a bit at the Marlin Party case though. Dear god look at the colors this is going to be sensory overload.
Excellent.]
action
Maybe after you say please. [Smirking before opening one in front of them. It was tempting to just drop them in, but he wants to see Kimblee struggle getting up with him in tow]
action
Thank you. [Oh he will struggle. Just look at him! He manages to stand halfway up at an awkward angle, plopping back down onto the couch not once but twice before he finally grabs Vanitas by the arm tries to haul him up along with him on the third attempt. LEVERAGE, WORK DAMN YOU.]
This--This is harder than I remember.
action
on, he would just yank him down or push him on to the unversed. It'll be a surprise randomly.
You didn't ask for Vanitas to get up. Just smirking over this entire ordeal. Even while the other was trying to pull him up.
Maybe he should be a bit more helpful.
Touching Kimblee on the thigh closest to him quickly.] This one first. Then the other.
[He knows how to observe everything. He will match him like a mirror image the fourth time around.]
action
[Because dragging around unconscious people was so much easier back then.]
You're stubborn, aren't you? [But he's not going to wait for an answer, because Kimblee is just going to drag Vanitas in through the portal. See? He can take it! He's gotten used to the idea of using them!]
action
[He can just become dead weight if Kimblee really wanted. It was tempting to totally qwop on him.]
What do you think? [And now they were in the kitchen.]
Re: action
[It'd be a lot easier to drag him around, at least. Sort of.]
You're worse than a mule when you want to be. [Doot de doo, just gonna make himself a sandwich.]
