[ The news feed comes on, and poor Cheria doesn't look so good.

Like, seriously. She's looking like she'll fall over at any moment. Obviously someone made herself sick.

But she still seems to be trying to go on with things, because that is how Cheria rolls. ]

Asbel, Sophie, Pascal, Captain Malik ... [ She almost says 'Hubert,' but nope, Hubert hasn't lived with them for a while. She remembers that and stops before she can say his name. ]

I thought it would be easier to contact all of you here, rather than individually. Dinner's going to be a little late today ... I ended up oversleeping a little.

[ And from the looks of her, she should still be in bed. ]

Just thought I would let you all know ...

[ And with that, the feed turns off. She's off to go start dinner. Someone, please make her go back to bed? Even if you're not immediate family, she really shouldn't be up and doing anything in her state. ]

[ Excuse her, she's sick and not liable for anything bitter she says or does under the influence of whatever illness she's caught. ]

[ Yeah, he probably would. Cheria has a lot to do and not a lot of energy to do it with, though, so she's just going to keep going and stop arguing her case, thank you very much.

She forgot to turn the video feed off, though, so now it just looks like she's ignoring him. sorry dude. ]

Maybe he should go over and check on her.

[ Well, when you get there, you'll see her sort of resting against a nearby wall. the oven is on and preheating, but though she has something set to boil on the stove, she hasn't actually ... turned it on. ]

[He knocks lightly, but finds the door is already open. That's not good.]

Cheria, I'm comin' in!

[And he does just that, moving in to the house and closing the door behind himself to move in to the kitchen.]

... did I say you look like hell? 'cause you really look like hell.

[ oi. no. you weren't supposed to come over here, dummy. she sighs. ]

Yeah well I mean it, and when some one says somethin' like that it's usually a sign you should take their damn advice, Cheria.

[You're supposed to take care of yourself, dummy.]

but in all seriousness, that does make her stop and fall quiet for a while.

We're sorry she's so stubborn, Rin. She just knows what it's like to be held back because you're sick, and she doesn't really like the feeling, even if she knows resting right now would be for her own benefit. ]

... admittin' you need a break ain't a weakness. And you're not the only one carin' for your family.

[By family he means Sophie and everyone else. They may not be blood related, but Cheria isn't the only one who's adopted people in that manner.]

Sometimes you gotta let them take care of you.

[ Yeah, Rin, take your own advice. But Cheria does take that in, and realizes with a sigh that he's right. She can't always be the one taking care of everyone.

But she's not going to say that. ]

... so. You gonna let the people around you help or what?

[ Finally, she sighs, then relents. ]

... if you really wanna do somethin' you can help me in the kitchen a little. Just try not to breathe on anything.

And if you get tired just say so.

[ She still wants to try and do something, because god, this is so not a big deal.

But she's not gonna deny the help she's being given, because she promised she wouldn't. ]
