[ Looking much happier and much more well-rested than her previous posts, Gracia appears on the SFC and waves cheerfully at the network. She's sitting by the steps of the library, with a glimpse of two tall piles of books in varying sizes to her left and right. ]

Vatheon, I have wonderful news! My father, Akechi Mitsuhide, is going to get married next year! On the first month! Isn't it exciting? I can't believe I spent so long holding in my joy!

[ Cue some squealing and yeah she pretty much shouts to the rest of the city that AKECHI MITSUHIDE IS GETTING MARRIED, MY FATHER IS GETTING MARRIED, etc. etc. For about five minutes. Help yourself to a dizzying view of the cold cemented steps as well. Yeahup.

Anddd she's done. Gracia plops right back down and holds in her giggles for later. ]

I'm going to plan a surprise for his wedding, but I need help! Muu, the library has many books, but only a few on weddings from different worlds and places. And I must hurry, so I won't have too much time to read thick books like this one - [ She holds up a three-inch book entitled "All About Weddings: From Proposing to the Honeymoon Bonanza!" ]

So tell me, Vatheon! How do you celebrate weddings back in your home world? Do you dress up in white? Do you have matchmakers? Oh, one of these books said something about "blind dates!" Is that a special kind of union? Tell me everything!

[ Yeah, she's way too preppy about this one. Sorry guys, she held it in for a long time. xD Sort of exploding now. ]

[Motochika smiles, a pleased gleam in his eyes; he's glad to see that she's come around to the idea and is treating it with her usual infectious enthusiasm. She's part of their family, so he won't deny her involvement.]

[Yet that does not mean she'll have free reign -- a fact she will learn soon enough. Though she is precious indeed to them both, some parts of the ceremony are his and Mitsuhide's alone.]

Though I've yet to read all of them, Motochika I've read so so much about weddings already! Oh, where will we even begin? [ She's extremely happy that he consented to her plans. Of course, she'll have to cut down on her more...extravagantly strange ideas, but hey. It's all part of the process! ]

You must tell me your plans for the ceremony! [ She extends her pointer finger at the SFC. ] But you have tell me in person! And this way, I can show you all the books I've been reading too.

*Oh hey Gracia. Selphie is looking at you like she recognises you, but that's as much as there's gonna be right now, considering how her memories have been all fuzzy*

But a blind date - that's just going on a date with someone you've never seen or met before!

[ Gracia stares at the woman intensely, and when she realizes who she's speaking to, she reacts in a rather comedic fashion. ]

Huwah!

[ With arms raised, Gracia hits her back on the edge of a step and flails forward, almost falling as she balances herself on the balls of her feet. The SFC falls down the stairs of the library. ]

[ When the feed returns, Gracia looks quite haggard, strands of her hair on her face and breath ragged. But she knows who she's speaking to. How could she mistake that voice? That face? She almost looks like she's close to tears, but if ever they would fall, they would be tears of utter joy. ]

[ She cradles the SFC close to her face, so so very happy she is. ]

You've returned, you've returned! Oh, I knew we'd be together again! [ Gracia hasn't quite realized that Selphie's memories are funny, though she'd find out sooner than later... ]

*Selphie smiles, ready to launch into some conversation into how much she'd love to help plan celebrations, and to explain that she did it so well at home but - *

[ Her smile is still eager, but Gracia, overall, looks quite confused. She tilts her head to the side as she replies, excited at the idea of planning both the ceremony and the party afterwards, yet feeling a little bit lost at where to begin. Obviously, she hasn't thought this through yet xD ]

I think you should probably leave the wedding planning to them, though. They're the ones getting married, so maybe they should be the ones to call the shots? I know I would want to plan out my own wedding ...

[ She says this like it's the most shocking thing ever. Also, she looks just a tad bit disappointed. ]

That's silly! [ She laughs. ] Father would never even think about marrying somebody else! I'm certain of it!

[ She pauses midway into her laughter and begins to look rather contemplative, tilting her head to the side. ]

...Well, I don't know how it would play out if Mother were to come to Vatheon, but nevertheless! Right now, and perhaps for forever, it is Motochika! [ Of course, there's her timeline to think about, but she's resolved certain issues concerning timelines and birth a few weeks ago. ]

[ Gracia blinks at him for a bit, before she breaks out into a cheerful smile. She hadn't realized he didn't know what a wedding was, considering Gale was always the one to point certain things out to her. But then again, wasn't he from a stranger kind of world? ]

A wedding is a ceremony where two people get married!

[ LOL it's a fail answer, but surely - Gracia thinks - he knows what marriage was at least? ]

[ Gracia looks rather bewildered for a bit, but it soon gives way to utter amusement. She's been beaten in the "things I don't know" section, it seems! After a quick laugh, not at Gale but at the fact that she didn't expect such a simple question coming from someone as complex and knowledgeable as him, she responds with gusto. ]

When you get married to somebody, it means that you would want them to spend the rest of their lives with you and only you! You make an unbreakable promise with that one person, to love them forever and nobody else can come in between! [ She points her finger at him. ] Kind of like having a friend, except much stronger. And more romantic! [ She retracts her hand and adopts a rather flushed look, imagining the romance between her two parents back in her own timeline...How her father refused to marry another woman but her mother, even if she had her smallpox scars...! ]

[ But Gracia remembers her own marriage - the courtship was brief and she had little choice, and there was pressure, so much pressure on their part to agree - so her smile falters slightly, and she ends up laughing without as much mirth to it as before. ]

Muu, well, I'd like to think that was what marriage was all the time. You can get married to somebody for other reasons, though.

[ She flashes a small smile at him. ] Do you understand?
