[ Looking much happier and much more well-rested than her previous posts, Gracia appears on the SFC and waves cheerfully at the network. She's sitting by the steps of the library, with a glimpse of two tall piles of books in varying sizes to her left and right. ]

Vatheon, I have wonderful news! My father, Akechi Mitsuhide, is going to get married next year! On the first month! Isn't it exciting? I can't believe I spent so long holding in my joy!

[ Cue some squealing and yeah she pretty much shouts to the rest of the city that AKECHI MITSUHIDE IS GETTING MARRIED, MY FATHER IS GETTING MARRIED, etc. etc. For about five minutes. Help yourself to a dizzying view of the cold cemented steps as well. Yeahup.

Anddd she's done. Gracia plops right back down and holds in her giggles for later. ]

I'm going to plan a surprise for his wedding, but I need help! Muu, the library has many books, but only a few on weddings from different worlds and places. And I must hurry, so I won't have too much time to read thick books like this one - [ She holds up a three-inch book entitled "All About Weddings: From Proposing to the Honeymoon Bonanza!" ]

So tell me, Vatheon! How do you celebrate weddings back in your home world? Do you dress up in white? Do you have matchmakers? Oh, one of these books said something about "blind dates!" Is that a special kind of union? Tell me everything!

*Then the girl falls down some stairs and Selphie jumps out of her own seat in surprise, looking shocked and yelling into the SFC*

Hey! Are you okay?!

*And Selphie looks relieved, but she blinks rapidly into the screen, both amused and confused by this kind of a reaction. But it's a strong reaction, and Selphie knows that this means that she must have really known this girl. She knows it, but there's no concrete memories attached*

Yeah... I'm back!

[ She still hasn't realized that Selphie may or may not know who she is. Gracia allows herself to be overwhelmed by the fact that one of her dearest, closest friends in Vatheon has returned. She stands up straighter and her arms flail about animatedly. Her expression and voice match this excitement. ]

Ooh, how wonderful! How are you? Where did you go? Did you go back home? Do you remember anything from there? Tell me!

[ And one last thing, for good measure. Gracia's smile softens, and fondness colors her tone. ]

I've missed you.

*Selphie can't help but just look happy now at this young woman. Gracia, right, that was her name. She knows that she's really happy to see her, but there's no memories really connected with that yet*

Uhm..I'm fine! I did go back home for a little while and everything was just like normal! I remember what happened there but here... here is a little fuzzy still...

*Yeah, and now she's looking super apologetic. But as soon as she hears that from Gracia, Selphie knows for sure that she missed her friend too - she can feel it, even if she doesn't remember*

[ Gracia's words are promptly replaced by something rather significant to what Selphie just said. "I remember what happened there but here, here is a little fuzzy still..."

She blinks and takes a moment to stare at Selphie, really studying the way she looked and the way she acted. Oh dear. Gracia's smile slowly turns upside down. Was she wrong to assume everything was back to normal? After all, even her closest friends returned to Vatheon not knowing who she was. Was this the same?

It couldn't be! She seemed to know Gracia! But, but nevertheless - ]

[ In a quieter voice - much quieter - she says; ]

...Sel, do you...still know who I am?

*Oh no, not that face, not that look. Selphie tries to keep up a neutral expression, but she's failing, the corners of her lips turning down. There was something in that expression that was similar to how Kenshin had looked at her, and several others too. This is why Selphie has such a fear of losing her memories - this is exactly what happens.

But, she manages a grim smile, playing at nonchalance*

You're Gracia, of course! I remember you! And I know I like you but... that's kinda all...

[ Gracia is disappointed, clearly, but she's learned to cope with matters like this. It took her a while, yet she's at least on the level of understanding that sometimes, there are things beyond your control, and you had no choice but to make due with it with a smile.

So she smiles for Selphie, genuinely, and shakes her head. ]

No, no Sel. It's alright! I suppose this is just as difficult for you as it is for your pals who remember your...All these people telling you who you are in this strange yet wonderful world must be challenging.

But! [ Gracia perks up visibly. ] I am your friend, and I won't let you down! I'll help you remember as much as you can, alright? [ She's excited, but she lowers her voice to a soft, fond level after a brief pause. ] I promise. Even if you don't remember everything, something is better than nothing.

*Oh dear, Selphie really doesn't look like she's enjoying that disappointed look. In fact, her facial expression clearly shows how sorry she is. But she sees that smile on her friend, and manages a wobbly one of her own*

I just... I don't like it. I don't get it. It's just weird. So weird.

*Glancing out of the SFC for a sec, Selphie gives a sigh before sitting up straight*

Really? You think you can help? I really do need all the help I can get! Really!

[ She continues to gaze at Selphie with fondness. ]

Of course I'll help. I'll keep on helping you until the end of time! That's what friends do for each other. We look out for one another, and put our lives on the line when need be. That's something I promised you the moment we became friends!

*Selphie looks so happy and excited about this that she smiles fit to burst, clapping her hands as a smile spreads over her face*
