[ Looking much happier and much more well-rested than her previous posts, Gracia appears on the SFC and waves cheerfully at the network. She's sitting by the steps of the library, with a glimpse of two tall piles of books in varying sizes to her left and right. ]

Vatheon, I have wonderful news! My father, Akechi Mitsuhide, is going to get married next year! On the first month! Isn't it exciting? I can't believe I spent so long holding in my joy!

[ Cue some squealing and yeah she pretty much shouts to the rest of the city that AKECHI MITSUHIDE IS GETTING MARRIED, MY FATHER IS GETTING MARRIED, etc. etc. For about five minutes. Help yourself to a dizzying view of the cold cemented steps as well. Yeahup.

Anddd she's done. Gracia plops right back down and holds in her giggles for later. ]

I'm going to plan a surprise for his wedding, but I need help! Muu, the library has many books, but only a few on weddings from different worlds and places. And I must hurry, so I won't have too much time to read thick books like this one - [ She holds up a three-inch book entitled "All About Weddings: From Proposing to the Honeymoon Bonanza!" ]

We begin with the foundations. First we must form the basin into which the fine details flow.

[He nods.]

A fine plan. I shall come to you!

[ Gracia points the SFC behind her shoulder, showing Motochika the library. ]

I'm sitting by the steps, Motochika! I'll be waiting! [ She flashes him an excited grin. ]

I won't keep you waiting long.

[He turns off the feed.]

[True to his word, Motochika doesn't take all that long to make his way to the library. Takumi rides on his shoulder and he has a satchel slung across his body.

He pauses when he reaches her, his gaze first taking her in before flicking to the book piles.]

Just how many books do you intend to read?

[He asks with an undercurrent of laughter.]

[ Gracia stands and greets Motochika with her fondest smile. She looks behind her to the pile of books she borrowed from the library with faint amusement. They didn't look like they were too much for one sit-through, right? Gracia returns to Motochika's attention with a genuine laugh, offering Takumi a pat on the head as well. ]

I was already halfway finished with the first pile to the right before you came, Motochika! [ Gracia skips two steps to his side, carefully avoiding her books. ] And we're definitely going to do more research for your big day!

[ She nods twice in determination. She settles her gaze upon Motochika once more, looking a tad bit concerned. She was just about to get to her surprise for him - whatever it was - until she notices his attire, or lack of thereof. She's heard it was worse up on the island, but even in the bubble the weather was getting rather chilly. Gracia herself was donning a warm wool sweater apart from her regular clothing. ]

Motochika, you'll catch cold if you don't wear something! [ She pouts slightly in disapproval. ] Muu, winter is no time to flaunt your figure!

I'm flaunting, am I?

[Motochika says rebelliously, before he laughs properly, amused as he is. Affection rings in every peal.]

You admonish like your father.

[He has seen that very same disapproving pout on Mitsuhide's face; not for the first time, it strikes him as remarkable how similar and yet dissimilar father and daughter truly are.

His response, of course, is unchanging: in the bubble, he is not particularly concerned about catching a cold.

Meanwhile, Takumi leaps down onto one of the stacks of books in the spirit of investigation.]

Your conviction is impressive, Gracia. I am glad to see your heart beat in time with our song.

[ She watches Motochika laugh, and then turns to Takumi's little scavenging of her books. At the mention of her Father and Motochika's relationship, however, Gracia smiles warmly. She approaches Motochika with careful steps, her hands swinging by her sides. ]

Actually, that was why I wanted to see you today, Motochika.

[ Before she can explain further, Gracia allows her body actions to do the rest of the talking. She embraces him, encircling her arms around his waist in a firm yet loving gesture. There is an evident emotion when she refuses to let go as she speaks. The intonation of her voice is apologetic, yet at the same time, incredibly eager. ]

I'm sorry I doubted you before. That you would forget me, and that Father would too. [ She removes herself from him only by a fraction of an inch, just enough to look up at Motochika with an unforgettably bright expression. She has overcome the storm, and she wants Motochika to see that she weathered it not only for herself, but for the people she loves too. ]

I know that I was wrong. And I'm sorry. I promise I won't think that way again. [ She tightens the embrace for a second, before letting go. ] So let's make this wedding an amazing event for my Father...and for my Father! [ Gracia laughs, her hand inviting him to come sit with her and Takumi. ]
