[Good day bubble, today on your SFC you will see one templar at coming in and out of one dressing room of two which is situated in one of the many clothing shops in the plaza. His hand has hit his own SFC on without much though, which is why what else can be seen is a mirror and small table between the dressing rooms as well. He also seems to be posing in front of said mirror and coming out in different clothing every time that ranges from this to this and even this. He's making comments too, some examples are "Oh this won't do." and "Ugh! This is awful!" for specifics. His hair that's usually tied up is not for the day either and his ears are sporting a pair of ruby stud earrings. Anyone can see he's having a hard time deciding what outfit to pick too, but finally decides on one as he's done changing back into his regular clothes and holding each one up.]

Hmm... I think I'll go with that gray suit I chose with the red tie and these earrings aren't that terrible either. A nice birthday gift to myself I would say too. Then I can get home, pick up Ib, and we'll be on our way to dinner. [Picks up the SFC, he'll see it's already on and linefaces for a moment before continuing.] Since this obviously was on before I decided to make a call, it seems my words prior were heard. So yes, it's my birthday and I'm going out to dinner with my adopted daughter Ib. Also Ib darling, if you're listening, I hope you're getting ready by the time I'm back at the apartment. [Obviously the world needed to know these facts, right?]

Anyway. I'm still not sure what the big deal with birthdays is about, but I might as well celebrate since people here seem to do that and this will be the first time in years I'm actually enjoying this day. But either way, I've done enough talking so I'll be in touch if anyone needs me. [Then he promptly turns off the feed.]

[For a moment, he almost mistakes that for something else. Then he remembers Serph's message over the network some time ago about being a cannibal, so his mind doesn't think otherwise.]

...Right, you're a cannibal. Sometimes I forget since you never act that way, at least in front of me.

[W o w, Angelo. Way to live in the gutter! Just because you live through your dick doesn't mean Serph does, too.

Serph tilts his head, questioning.]

How do you expect a cannibal to act?

[He's very happy living through his sexual lifestyle, it's one of the few things that makes him happy.

But regardless, he shrugs at Serph and answers.]

According to stories I read in the library, they're suppose to be somewhat on the insane side and devour their victims whole almost every time. I only read about them more after that network post you made.

[bufudine]

Serph shakes his head.]

We are still people. There may have been some of us like that before--

[Serph looks away for a moment, expression neutral]

[Now he feels a little bad for saying that and puts a hand on Serph's shoulder.]

Serph listen, it shouldn't matter what you are on the outside. What you are on the inside is much more important, right?

[Wow are you trying to protagonist him? Serph's gaze goes back to Angelo.]

It's fine. What I am doesn't bother me.

[Inside, outside, it's the same to him. The human, the demon, the program, that's all him, both inside and out. He gestures back to Angelo's plate, as if saying, "Please, continue eating."]

[He does continue eating, still watching Serph before he completes his meal. Though a thought suddenly pops up in his mind which he needs to question his friend about.]

Serph, there's something that has been on my mind for a time now. How far does your knowledge about the human body extend? The last time we spoke, you didn't seem familiar with the idea of reproduction. Unless of course I'm mistaken.

[bufudine]

[He knows lots of different ways to kill someone, but he thinks that isn't what Angelo wants to know.]

I understand what's needed for human reproduction, though it doesn't apply to me.

[Where are you going with this... Serph tilts his head.]

What knowledge are you seeking?

[Angelo gives Serph a small smirk, the other may be able to see the sly and yet excited curiosity gleaming in his eyes when he replies.]

It's more of a curiosity than seeking of knowledge. Have you ever seen two people of the same gender be romantic with one another, particularly in the physical sense?

[bufudine]

[Ye...s...? Serph considers that for a moment.]

I have not witnessed it--

[Presumably because most here are not inclined to public displays of affection. Johnny excepted. Though he's certain Johnny doesn't hold any romantic affections for him, despite the kiss.]

--but I know of it.

[Curiosity, though...? Angelo get to your point.]

[He moves his chair closer to Serph and puts his hand on Serph's shoulder again with a very mischievous grin.]

The thought of kissing a man has piqued my interest as well as curiosity, I want what it's like. However as you're one of the few men I can...confide in, I thought you might understand my situation better than the others. As I'm more than aware you also wish to know more about the world. So then, are you willing to help my curiosity?

[bufudine]

[ANGELO PLS. Serph doesn't answer for a long moment, closing his eyes as he thinks.

He understands curiosity, wanting to experience the unexperienced. But kissing on the mouth, even if Angelo does not mean it that way, is a symbol of romantic interest. People kissing him has already gotten others in trouble. Serph isn't about to encourage more.

Opening his eyes, Serph shakes his head.]

Sorry. I can't.

[Is Serph seriously thinking he's going to become attached over a kiss or show signs of romantic interest? Please, he's not that type of man. The one he truly is leaves emotional attachment behind when it comes to this and believes anyone who thinks they're in love is only fooling themselves into something that's false. Regardless, he lets out a sigh.]

Allow me make this clear, I have no interest in becoming attached to anyone in a romantic sense nor do I believe in true love even existing to begin with. It's all fabricated in the human heart because people don't want to be alone, simple as that.

[bufudine]

[Serph shakes his head again.]

This is personal.

[Even if Angelo is fine with it, Serph isn't. There is no 'just to try it out.' Not for him. Not right now. And there's too many fragmented memories associated with the act. Too many things that twist inside him that Serph doesn't understand.

He dips his head briefly in apology.]

Sorry.

[Angelo's eyes are rolling internally, he doesn't get why this is such a big deal. It's only a kiss, not a matter of life or death.]

By the Goddess above, enough already. Between you and Trunks, I honestly don't know which one of you is more worse when it comes to being so serious over the most ridiculous issues. It's simply amazing.

[He shakes his head and leans back a bit from Serph.]

Would you be less inclined to say no if I asked for a kiss on the cheek instead?

[bufudine]

[WHAT. What did he do now?? Choose the wrong dialogue option, clearly. Serph doesn't say anything when Angelo berates him.

But Angelo's suggestion... Reading books in the library while he works, Serph's realised that kisses in different locations can mean different things. That book Squall had recommended to him had kissing on the hand, to represent fealty. Too bad Serph had also found out cheek kissing is as much a thing done simply as a greeting as it is done as a indicator of romantic interest, though less forward as a kiss on the mouth.

Serph shakes his head. Sorry mate.]

[The last thing he wanted to do was berate Serph, they were getting along so well too. So to make up for it and because he's kind of a jerk, he leans forward giving Serph a soft kiss on the lips before pulling away. A satisfied grin curls up on his lips soon afterward.]

There now, that wasn't so hard was it?

[bufudine]

[ASDF;LKJ this keeps happening. Serph doesn't exactly push Angelo away, but he doesn't respond to the kiss either. When Angelo pulls away, Serph's expression is still as neutral as ever.]

And what have you learnt?

[beauchevalier]

[Instead of something pleasurable, it doesn't feel that different from kissing a woman at all. Not only that, but those bacon and eggs they both ate were still on their lips which left the taste to be desired.]

It's the same as kissing a woman and your lips taste like the food we ate. So while I'm somewhat satisfied, that yearning for more hasn't quite left.

[bufudine]

[Ha. Angelo you're a terrible host. Serph isn't stupid; he knows what that more means. He stands.]

Then it's best I left.

[He's not a terrible host, you're just a boring guest. But whatever, he smiles and waves at Serph.]

It was nice having you over and thanks again for the gift, I take it I'll see you some time later or at the Host Club?

[bufudine]

[Serph nods. Host Club is probably the most likely place he'll see Angelo again. Even if Angelo had kissed him even though he'd said no, Serph doesn't bear him any ill will.]

Thank you for the food.

[And with that, Serph turns to leave.]

[He watches Serph leave then once the other does, he retires back to bed for a couple more hours of sleep.]
