Selphie Wake Up!~

*Whoa, Selphie feels like she's been asleep for a long, long time. She's sitting up on her bed, surrounded by piles of plush toys. Blinking into her SFC, she does look kinda sleepy, but there's a touch of confusion there too. There's a clock in her room, but no calendar, so she has no idea that she's been in a coma for two weeks*

Good Morning Vatheon! I guess I was asleep...for a long time. Feels like the last time it happened.

What day is it? Did I miss anything?

Ah, you should have said that earlier. [He just thought she was picky about trying new things.] The ginger isn't too strong, I think. [He takes back the cup.]

It probably isn't. I just don't like bitter stuff..or something. But I'm glad that you like it, though!

*Selphie peers into her own cup of black tea, complete with milk and sugar*

Oh.. Okay then.

*Selphie just smiles and looks down at her tea, like maybe it's done something to offend, and takes a sip*

[The waitress comes back with their bill, which Aya takes. He pulls out a wallet for the money to pay, plus a tip.]

So I take it you're full now?

*Selphie leans forward as if to protest but he just paid so darned fast. So she sits back and smiles, knowing that she'll get it next time*

Hee! Yeah, pretty much. And thank you! I was staaarving!

[He did offer to pay! Plus he's pretty quick like that.]

No problem. At least your first meal since waking up wasn't junk food.

*He did! And so kind of him ~ Selphie never forgets a good turn! She smiles as she squishes her cuddly cat in her hands*

You mean you don't call that junk?

It wasn't deep fried, smothered in oils, nor just a bunch of chemicals coated in orange. So no, I didn't consider it junk.

[He would definitely change the portion size, though.]

*Selphie brightens at this news and claps her hands, though it's muffled with the cat head squashed between her palms*

Exactly! You're totally right! You should tell my friends that! Even Zell says it's bad, and he likes to have hot dogs for breakfast!

Are they at least from a good brand?

I don't even know... they're in the canteen, so they could be made outta anything! They're super popular there.

*She glances down at her feet for a moment, knowing that she shouldn't be thinking too much about home*

[Aya makes a face at the possibility of hot dogs being filled with just about anything. Ick.]

Why are they popular?

Well.. I guess if you get a bunch of hungry soldiers in training they'll eat just about anything!

*She smiles at the thought and laughs softly*

[Aya nods at that.] That sounds about right.

*Selphie smiles and nods*

Yup! That's us soldiers! We gotta eat to stay strong, ya know? Like with waffles!

[He blinks at the statement.]

Oh, you're a soldier?

Yup!

*And she salutes just to prove it*

Solider, mercenary, something, whatever you wanna call it!

Impressive. At least I know the shop will be in good are in case we're under attack.

*Selphie grins at the compliment, looking excited at the idea of defending the shop*

You can come back whenever you'd like. There's no rush.

I'm sorry I wasn't around to help you with Christmas and New Year - but at least I'll be around to help out for Valentine's, right?
